I love the idea of a trumphet/mermaid dress, but I’m also looking for something fitted, lace, or a ruffled look to go with my spanish wedding theme. Any ideas? Any brides already purchased a dress they love, that could help me out. Any assistance would truely be appreciated.
Thank you! 🙂

Well, sort of. I don’t have good pics of my dress yet (it comes in in May!) but the top of mine is fitted and lace, and the bottom has this fun organza! I’m getting married on Cinco de Mayo, so it was very fitting.

Oooooo I think the San Patrick Eresma looks very spanish and it fits BEAUTIFULLY. After trying it on for fun, I was almost tempted to buy it even though it wasn’t what I was looking for at all.

I’m wearing Madeira by La Sposa, and it is a mermaid with a lace cut-away that feels very Spanish and flirty. I have a blog post up on the Bee about it, if you’re interested in seeing it! 🙂

I am wearing pronovias and they are a Spanish designer – my dress isnt specifically very Spanish, but most of their dresses are!

Several people have said that my La Sposa Damasco has a little bit of a Spanish feel to it. It’s a trumpet with a one-shoulder detail — love it!

There was an episode of Say Yes to the Dress, and the theme was a Spanish Wedding, thus a Spanish themed dress: http://blogs.discovery.com/say-yes-to-the-dress/destination-wedding/
