We are having our reception outside! Therefore, we need lights! Me, my fiance, mom, sister-in-law and future in laws have been going all over greater Alabama and Georgia on the hunt for lights! My mom got 3200 feet of regular lights to wrap the bottom of the pecan trees and oak trees and I have found some of the big G40 bulbs at Target to hang above! I am so excited we have gotten all of the lights for under 200 bucks! 🙂 WOO HOO!!!!

Great deal! I scoured the sales last year for shampagne colored stuff and lights. I scored some pretty good stuff then.

My wedding colors are black, white and silver.
I have picked up some great silver stuff.
Yay for clearance!

I’ve been picking up stuff in the Boxing Day sales and definitely going to shop in the January sales for wedding items!

I bought a bunch of candleholders at Kohl’s right before and right after Christmas with $10 off $20 coupons and Kohl’s cash. I’m contemplating buying a few more of them at Kohls.com with an extra 20% off coupon code and a free shipping coupon code. Everything else I need will probably be bought at Michael’s and Joann Fabrics with their various sunday coupons and e-mailed coupons. I think I’ll have to start recruiting my co-workers to save coupons for me.

I bought some bout and bouquet supplies last night at Michaels for 60% off. Oh, you should’ve seen my face.

Last year I did! I bought tons of vases/bowls/glass thingies for all the “Christmas candles” and lots of silver/white/ivory floating candles. They had swirly glittery designs but they were perfect for a summer wedding, lol. I felt kinda silly hoarding them for so long tho. I also bought decorative boxes for like 50 cents each to package my Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts in. They came in champagne pink and were metallic and matched the wedding perfectly. It was so weird, actually =]

In january, Michaels does an “all florals 50% off sale”. I got $400 worth of flowers for $200 for all my bouquets.
