What a nightmare!

I’ve only had 1 dream, and it was similiar to yours.. nobody showed up. Not because they invitations had wrong dates, but I guess because neither family wanted to go.

@MechEBee:  Gah I hate these!  I had one memorable wedding dream in which I forgot to check in with all the vendors and confirm final details.  Like the officiant was missing, DJ had no idea what to do, etc.

Oh that’s a terrible dream!

I dreamed that the wrong dress got delivered and we tried to get it similar to my real dress and we hacked it to pieces. I also dreamed that the food never got catered to the reception so all my guests got up and left.

I dreamt last night that the police came and arrested me for smuggling people out of Melbourne (?) while I was at our reception. I panicked and tried to escape, but I knocked over the cake and it was filled with those little plastic bags drug dealers use in movies, except filled with raisins and candied orange peel. I looked at my bouquet, and it was made of bits of candied orange peel, tulips and pipe cleaners.

This is why I don’t sleep, lol

I had the craziest wedding dream, the night before my best friend’s wedding in October last year. I dreamt that I was going to miss her wedding, because I was at mine (which will be in July 2014). I was in my dress on some arctic fishing boat,, floating around surrounded by ice, trying to find land so we could get off the boat. We finally did, and my dad was stressing about finding chairs for everyone to sit on, and I was like “no, it’s ok, everyone can just stand around on the ice, it won’t take very long’. Weird…I dread to think how much worse this is going to get in the next 6 months if I was already having dreams like that 10 months out.

@MechEBee:  Ive had 4 about my dress being the wrong dress.

In one dream it was a totally different style. It was a dress style I truly hated. As I walked down the aisle in the dress, I stopped and said “By the way, I did not pick THIS dress!” Dream me, hated the dress so much, that I had to let everyone know I didnt pick it.

Another dream the dress was too big and I had to wrap it around myself… and it fell down in front of everyone during the first dance.

And again, in another dream the dress was ordered in Blush instead of Ivory/white. I liked the color even though it wasnt what I wanted. But in my dream everyone kept acting as if I was going to my own sweet 16 because the dress reminded them of a little girl since it was pink…

All very strange, clearly I have a lot of anxiety about the dress being the wrong dress. When I told the dreams to my mom she said its probably because my dress for Jr and Senior Prom both came in and were the wrong dress. I had totally forgot that happened to me (two years in a row!) So I guess I do have deep seeded fear about the wrong dress coming in.

Haha I’ve had a few.  A notable one from the other night:

My FI and I were still living together, still engaged, but he was seeing other women and encouraging me to date also!!  I remember in the dream laying in bed audibly sobbing, and I woke up teary.  In the dream, I tried meeting other people but was so sick about it, I couldn’t.

When I told my FI that morning he laughed and said, “That sounds great!!!”  LOL, JERK!!!!!

I had a dream about a month before that a meteor shower threatened my wedding. Then I had one the night before the wedding where my husband told everyone to stay home and not come. When I got to the venue everyone was there but they were pointing and laughing. Turns out I hadn’t gotten dressed and I was completely naked. Hair and makeup looked awesome though!

had one last night! Everyone forgot (including me) about the wedding so there were no confirmations/final meetings and my wedding turned into this Christmas-themed wedding (and I’m getting married in February) with trees and tinsel and the baker made us these HUGE cakes decorated in red snowflakes? I was scrambling to plan/coordinate everything in my wedding dress, it was all at my mom’s house, the caterer forgot the menu, she couldn’t find a knife… it was a huge disaster.
