Any current Seattle Bees out there? Heck… I'd even settle for WA state!

We’re getting married September 2016 at an outdoor wedding on the Olympic Peninsula.  Finding my choices for vendors and things frustratingly limited though!

Fellow Seattlite checking in! We’re getting married in a park on Capitol Hill and a historic mansion on First Hill. July 2016, colors are blush and gold.

My hair and makeup artist is in West Seattle if you need a referral 🙂

We’re not getting married until next year, but our venue is already booked in the Lake Tapps/Puyallup area! We were originally planning on getting married summer, but I didn’t realize that the venues out here booked so early. My guess is that “wedding season” over here is a much shorter time span and June-August is in higher demand than elsewhere because of the weather.

Our wedding is going to be “southern” inspired. FI was born there, we have family there, and we’re hoping to move down there in a couple of a years – it seemed fitting to have a southern wedding. 🙂 I think our wedding colors are going to be champagne, ivory, and blush, but I may end up replacing blush with a light blue or lavendar.

Seattle Bee here! Hence the username. 🙂

We are actually having a destination wedding in Arizona, because I am doing everything in my power to avoid rain on my outdoor ceremony and reception! 🙂 Also we are taking advantage of both families living at opposite ends of the country, so a DW was easily doable.

My desert wedding colors are dusty rose, soft gold and a pop of deep emerald green. Hopefully similar to this:

Also I’m hoping to have Jordan Voth (Seattle based) come down as my photographer. Nice to meet everyone!

I currently live in the SF area (though I might be moving there this summer–fingers crossed, waiting on the job offer this week!) but our wedding will be in Issaquah, WA and all of our vendors are Seattle area vendors. 🙂

Hey Northwest gals!  I got married in Tacoma last year, reception at Fircrest Golf Club.  If anybody needs any south sound recommendations, feel free to ask!  However my photographer is Seattle-based and I loved her.  Colors were gold and cream (men wore black tuxes with ivory ties).

katy498:  Girlfriend got married in Leavenworth last year in July.. it was 100 degrees out and everybody in the wedding party sweat the entire time, one girl almost passed out.  If it’s outside, keep that in mind when it comes to pictures, attire and giving them lots of time to hydrate beforehand!

I live in Portland and FI lives in Seattle (for a few more months).  We have family ranging the whole I5 corridor between the cities.  Wedding isn’t for quite a while and it’s the second for both of us.  We aren’t sure of the venue or really anything else at this point.  Can’t wait to see all of your ideas.  Sounds like if we do find somewhere we like, we should book soon…

I live in the south sound and we are getting married in Woodinville! So excited! Almost all of my vendors are from that area. We have food, officiant, string quartet, day-of coordinator, hair + makeup, photographer and florist figured out so far. Still looking into cake & transportation options. Colors will be ivory, blush, deep reds & gold!

Seattle Bee! Not yet engaged – expecting a proposal sometime after June, but I am so excited to see a bunch of other Seattlites/Washingtonians here!
