Not a bride yet but when the time finally comes I'm definitely having damask decor! Love the photos you posted!
me me!! my colors are apple red and white with black and white damask...here's some things I've diy'd already
We did black and red also...I loved the way the tables turned out but I think black tablecloths w/ the runners would have been better.
Still have some items for sale btw:)

@missmonicka....I LOVE the invitations, etc. Do you have a tutorial? My sister and I plan to DIY her paper goods (invites, table numbers, menu cards) etc. and I love that damask paper. She is doing black, white, with yellow as the accent color...with damask thrown in here and there.
@ jamaicabride....girl let me tell you how i got this idea....i saw these invites at a bridal show. loved the heck outta them....went on line to price them...decided these people had to be out their minds if they thought I was gonna pay $500.00 for these...ordered a sample...took it apart....went to Michaels and bought paper...and thus my invitation was born.....
so i don't have a tutorial cuz i did them on a whim but let me see if i can remember where I ordered the sample from....
i just got random things off the internet for my inspiration...and my wedding is in june, so i'll post pics of how it turned out!
I just got married December 19. I did Red, Black, and Damask. It ended up being beautiful! I would love to show you pics, but I don't have my professional ones back yet and the show the decorations the best. If you're interested, email me at shannahan84@yahoo.com and I'll tell you how to see them in an online gallery!
I recently designed a wedding puzzle for a damask bride with an apple green accent and I loved her pattern/color scheme. Here's a picture of one of the puzzle favors we designed for her:

THought maybe you would like these invites!!!! Found them on www.decadentdesignsllc.com She is really good!! (I dont know her personally, she just has beautiful work!!
Check it out! http://decadentdesignsllc.com/store/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=18

I asked my bridesmaids with an awesome handmade damask card/crosworkpuzzle... Check out my blog for instructions on how I made it!! Good Luck!
pretty, ladies! i clicked on this thread expecting to see dresses made of damask...i only knew 'damask' as the rich, lustrous fabric of a specific sort of weave (one of my favorite sorts of fabrics for dresses and skirts!), not as a certain pattern to be placed onto paper, cake, etc.! interesting.
