We just booked our Vegas Honeymoon and we are working strictly with our travel agent since we know NOTHING about the area.

But, I'd love to know if anyone has any suggestions on where to go, what to see, even where not to go lol

Any info at all would be great!!!!!

    Thanks!

We are going to be doing one.  I am down to getting ready to book our fllights and hotels.  We are going to stay at the MGM Grand and we are flying Allegient air.  I've been to Vegas before and there ar some great shows, great restaurants, most hotls have a nice pool area.

What hotel are you staying at?

@Khumble:  New York, New York has an awesome piano bar on the first floor!  I believe it's called the Piano Bar at Times Square.  So much fun!

We went to Vegas right after our wedding last year. Wedding was on Saturday July 17th and we left for Vegas on the Monday (19th) and came home on Friday.

This was the first time to Vegas for both of us. Here some of the stuff we did.

    Stayed at the Mirage.

We saw the Cirque show Love. It was AMAZING. Highly recommended!

Did a tour of the Hoover Dam. We booked it through a tour company that picked us up at 9:30 am, drove 45 mins to 1 hr to the Dam. Went on a tour there. Then when you leave you get back on the bus and stop at the Lake Mead look out point for about 10 minutes. Then you go to Ethel's Chocolate Factory for a tour and samples and you can walk through the Cactus Botantical Garden there. Then we were dropped back off at our hotel around 3:00. I believe it cost us $60 each.

We went to the Las Vegas Outlet Mall (this isn't the outdoor one)... honestly nothing exciting. The deals werent that great. The only nice thing was there were a few stores there that we don't have in Canada.

We walked the strip, checked out all the hotels, took lots of pictures. LOVED the Bellegio fountains. We could have stood there for hours watching them.

OH we did the wax museum. It was neat but expensive. It was around $25 each and we were done in 45 minutes. We also did the Dolphin and Tiger thing at the Mirage. It was really neat and relaxing to walk around. It was $15 each and worth it. We sat beside the dolphin pool where they go to swim in between shows and they started showing off to us, doing tricks (all on their own).

That's all I can think of for now... it was fun and a nice getaway after the wedding!

we went to las vegas for 5 days before leaving on a cruise, and it was awesome! we stayed at the bellagio, and the rooms there are amazing!

    i'd recommend:

cirque du soleil's show, zumanity. perfect for couples, but is very sexual.

a canal ride at the venetian, it's romantic if you can block out the crowds of people around you.

see the hoover dam! it's amazing!

criss angel's show at the luxor is awesome!

the dinner we had at the stratosphere's top of the world restaraunt was awesome! good food, a little pricey but it's so worth it.

we did the CSI thing, wasn't worth it for adults. it's pretty easy to figure out, and for $50 for both of us, it wasn't worth the 15 minutes it took us to get through, i'd save the money for something else.

palace station, which isn't on the strip has the BEST buffet. during the week, if you join the player's club, you get 2 dinner buffets with drinks included for $15.00!

we did a ton of other things, but those are just the highlights! :)

    I've stayed at 3 hotels

The Rio-Dont go there its old and needs renovating, casino area is not that fun

The MGM- i really liked this hotel it was really nicely layed out and the shops and restaurants were pretty good, we watched Ka which was also pretty good a lot of action. Only thing i didnt like was that its at the end of the strip but if you like the walk its not too bad

The Trump Tower- The rooms are very nice and spacious, Very quiet has no casino but if you want to relax its really nice it has a spa and bar
