@Laurenplusalex:  OOooh me!

My dress is from an etsy seller, she’s terrible about responding to emails. That has been the most stressful and they don’t always include tracking information. I hate having to open cases on my orders but sometimes you have to so the shop will respond timely.

@Laurenplusalex:  Yeah I have made a point of lying and telling people my wedding was in July or something (but not a last minute date) just in case everything runs slowly. I’ve been talking with my dress lady since November and I just payed her last month. I still don’t know what the fabric of my dress is going to be and where she is regarding the alterations.

Dress people have been the worst so far experience I’ve had with etsy. But then again, the dress I want pretty much exists no where else in the world except for maybe $800 more with added things I don’t even want.

Tis stressful that is for certain.

@Laurenplusalex:  You can get this dress from Alfred Angelo if you don’t want to risk ordering on Etsy. Its pretty much identical I think.

I bought my dress on etsy from bridalblissdesigns. I had her make a custom dress as opposed to something that was already in her shop. It was a really easy experience and I am really pleased with the result. I guess my only reccomendation would be to be really specific with what you want. There were a couple things I wanted in the dress that I thought would be really obvious based on the inspiration pictures I sent to her (like a solid circle skirt as apposed to an A-line skirt) but I guess it wasn’t

I bought mine on Etsy from a seller who now has several threads talking about how crappy she is  I love my dress and had a decent experience but my expectations were not high. My dress also came from China.  It was made to my measurements just fine but now that I am getting it shortened (ordered to long on purpose) we are noticing the shortcuts they took in seams and cutting and a lopsided crinoline.  You can tell she was rushed.  That being said….I don’t regret it and I don’t notice the crappy workmanship and in the end it was a $200 dress that I will wear once then trash in the color me rad run and not feel guilty about it at all!

My biggest peice of adviceis know that you get what you pay for! I was ok with that but not all areI
