I just got back inside from picking the little suckers of our tomato plants! I love our little garden, we got cheery and normal tomatos, peppers, pumpkin, yellow beans, kohlrabi and carrots! I can’t wait to first our first veggies, we’ve been so happy when we found our first tomato babies 2 weeks ago!
Any more bees out there with veggie or fruit garden?

Greens- lettuce, spinach, chard
Root veggies- beets, carrots, radishes
Yellow squash, pumpkins, cucumbers
Bell peppers and jalapenos
Herbs- sage, dill, thyme, parsley, rosemary, cilantro, oregano
Fruit- blueberries, strawberries, pears, cherries
Flowers- marigolds, zinnias, sunflowers, gladiolus
I feel like I’m forgetting a few things, but that’s the general idea. We have a pretty big garden. To be honest, my boyfriend does most of the work on it. 🙂

This has been a work in progress. SO and I got into this last year.
Currently, we have a jalapeno plant and a tabasco plant that are thriving.
BUT we have tried tomatoes multiple times as well as cilantro, basil, oregano, green onions, etc, etc. Everything dies, though we got a few small tomatoes.
We aren’t giving up, though! At least peppers seem to be easy. We live in FL, so I think the heat is a bit much for the tomatoes.

Ha I JUST took this pic! Today’s harvest, less 3 we gave away…there’s about 30 more going between 3 plants and dozens more flowers coming in.
We also have:
Tons of herbs including an ungodly amount of basil and mint
Habenero and thai peppers
Not bad for a roof in Brooklyn!

Yay for more gardeners! we can’t wait to eat our first tomatos! Hubby loves being out in the garden, it calms him and keeps his mind of things! I love being out there too and I have my little flower bed in the front yard! 🙂

Love love love plants! But, sadly my balcony gets part shade during the summer so I cant grow most veggies. I can grow tons and tons of peppers and all kinds of herbs though! Basil is my favorite to grow because its so easy. Botanical Interests has many differenty types of basil and I’m currently growing a purple basil.
