I saw the Time Travelers Wife and liked it - the book is better but the movie was still good. I also still want to see The Ugly Truth but havent gotten around to it.
The Hangover was pretty funny. Rather coarse at times, but worth watching in my opinion. Other than that, I've only heard good things about Up but I haven't seen it yet.
I really enjoyed Julie & Julia, and I thought "The Ugly Truth" was pretty funny as well.
Mr. MJ and I watched "27 Dresses" last night (Netflix), and Mr. MJ was completely put off by the bridezilla-esque qualities of Tess! It was funny, he kept saying how angry her attitude made him and how he couldn't stand listening to her parading around demanding everything. Guess we shouldn't watch "Bridezillas" together eh?
I'm dying to see Ponyo!! Me and the hubs are planning on it this week.
I don't think I'll see Distrcit Nine. I can't handle too much gore and hubs doesn't like me to draw blod from his arm while we're in the theater. (can't imagine why!) ;-)
Off to see Julie & Julia this evening. After the gym and a stop at Taco Bell. THe irony is too much sometimes.
Mr. Peng and I finally got around to seeing the Hangover... hilarious! Can't wait to buy it on DVD and watch it a million times :)
LatteLove , please let us know how Ponyo is! i'm very excited about it. I'm glad to hear Julie & julia was good . I think my mom and I are going to see it .
We just rented I Love you Man, and I swear, Paul Rudd's character- is/was my husband. I was laughing for days. LOVED It. Plus, the out takes on the DVD were great.
I saw the Ugly Truth- it entertained me. But I really want to see 500 Days of Summer.
Julie & Julia was really good. It almost inspired me to start cooking...but my DH is a much better and amazing cook...so I'll leave the cooking to him.
I've heard lots of good things about 500 Days of Summer and Julie & Julia.
The last movie I saw in the theater was that latest Harry Potter.
Before that was UP which I really loved.
@maryjane - Tess makes me crazy in that film.
Mr BC and I saw Ponyo a few weeks ago - it's so good!!
I liked "Julie and Julia"--very cute. I also want to see "Ponyo".

I watched District 9 with Mr. Bee this weekend, and I enjoyed it even though it was dark and bloody. I generally like to watch comedies. :)
Is there anything else out or coming out that you recommend?
