Westminister, MD is about halfway between Gettysburg and Baltimore (I grew up not too far from there in Sykesville). They have a lot of very nice parks that could provide some cool backdrops (http://www.westgov.com/recreation/rec_parks.html) the lime kiln interperative park has a cool building built into a hillside, and Belle Grove Square is very pretty. The family fitness center looks kind of like a castle. They also have a very cute historic downtown area that could provide some great shots.
McDaniel College is also located right in Westminster http://admissions.mcdaniel.edu/. It's a pretty campus and may give you some nice shots.
What kind of feel are you looking for? Historic? Pastoral? Urban?

We just had our consult with our photographer... And it went fabulously! She's super sweet and outgoing and we share a lot of the same interests and I'm really excited about her! THEN, at the end of our consult, she mentioned that she's been doing free engagement shoots!!! AMAZING! It works out perfectly since we've been needing new, good pictures for various things... but didn't have the budget to do the engagement pictures.
ANYWAY... Now we're left trying to find a location to actually DO the shoot! She's from Baltimore and we're in Gettysburg, so somewhere in the middle would be preferable... Only neither of us know that area. Any tips on a good place to get some awesome engagement shots?! Do share!
