I’m making the bouts for the groomsmen with superhero guitar picks and they are all wearing kilts and converse (my FI’s idea)

this is what i’m wearing.

Basement bar venue.

We are having kinder egg favours, sweets and luminary centre pieces and i’m just having a london bus instead of a couple of wedding cars.

@AndysCraftsNmore:  :p I’m goth and having a goth wedding and my dress will be white. ppl aren’t ‘cookie cutter’, everyone has different tastes. Thats just human nature.  Nor is anyone whose wedding that has pink bm dresses or fits into tv ready viewing having a wedding that is less theres, the world takes all kinds of folks. Sorry for the rant there just felt the opening spiel was a bit weird.

But anyways..our colors are red, black and white, and we are trying for vampy glam, classy goth. No hot topic stuff or whatever that store is in america , no mall goth, no teenage goth stuff, just classy goth formal affair.  Think old hollywood in the days of Nosferatu

We actually reccently moved the celebration wedding for numerous reasons and this was one of them. We moved it to 10/30/14. 10/31/14 we couldnt do our reception at Epcot due to the food and wine festival so we chose 10/30/14 and will offer a buy into Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party for our guests.

Our theme will be Haunted Mansion/Nightmare Before Christmas/Halloween. The colors will be orange and purple. The groom/groomsemen will have a pin stripe tuxes with orange vests/boutineres, the bridesmaids long purple dresses with orange/purple flowers and fiddle back ferns. Down the aisle we plan to do jack-o-lanterns. We are getting married in a gazebo on the water I’m going to request fake spider webbing be put up, and possibly hanging bats from the ceiling (there is an inside joke with this). The flower girl will have dark purple petals.

For the reception we will be at the france plaza in epcot. We will have haunted mansion damask table clothes (black damask on purple), and either jacolantern or candleabra decorations. We will have a sketch artist and possibly a magician to entertain the guests. The cake cutting will be to illuminations fireworks show :).

My dress will have a layer of purple tulle added underneath which wont be seen during the ceremony but will be seen during the reception when it is bustled. I will wear a pair of 9 button boots from son of a sandlar in black and purple that my husband bought me as one of his first gifts to me.I havent decided but I’m leaning towards a spooky brooch bouquet.

Ceremony music will be played by either a trio or quartet. I will have the bridesmaids etc come out to the theme from the haunted mansion, my promenade will be “This is Halloween” from NBC unless we can get the musicians to play with an audio recording then it will be Bach’s Fugue. We will probably exit to “Kashmir” by Lead Zeplin.

Our cake will be a topsy turvey cake. I’m not totally sure on the design but I think it will be haunted mansion-esk with the characters from NBC thrown in. The cake topper is actually a limited edition sculpture with Jack and Sally in a Doom Buggy on top of the haunted mansion logo :).

For signing we are doing a limited edition piece of artwork from NBC, we will have our guests sign the matting.

Our welcome/rehersal dinner will be at Reglan Road. This is an irish style pub with dancers :). Hubs and I are talking about possibly wearing matching kilts to the rehersal but we haven’t completely decided on that.

@AndysCraftsNmore:  I understand ppl being like that can be frustrating, when I was 15 I heard it a lot, now I’m 26 and no one cares anymore and I don’t care anymore lol

I am doing skulls and skeletons for my wedding. I had very elaborate invitations but have had to change because our venue went bankrupt, but here was a part of the invite sorry the pic is so big/blurry.

@dewingedpixie:  I just saw this! We are at the 5 week mark for our Disney wedding and just got the finalized budget….so excited and so stressed trying to get stuff done.

As for us….we are having a Steampunk wedding at WDW. The ceremony and reception will be at the Tamu Tamu courtyard in the Animal Kingdom.

My dress is deep purple with Victorian cuffs and collar and top hat and my FI is wearing a brocade tailcoat, vest, cravat, top hat and tall steampunk boots. Other people have corsets, bustle skirts, mini top hats, bowler hats, sleeve garters, etc.

I’m in the process of making bouquets/boutonnières right now out of leather, glass, copper wire, gears and feathers. Our cake will be a custom cake that looks like a boiler furnace…even down to the glowing!

FI is working in music. It will be a mixture of all the geeky music we love!
