Any Gypsy Sets Out There?

My mom has a Tiffany etoile band that she wears both with her e-ring and alone. I find it gorgeous. It’s a bit “thick” looking for my own taste, but it looks great on her and it’s right up her alley style-wise. The only negative is that it’s gotten very scratched up and given that the band is so polished, it’s quite noticeable.

I Googled “tiffany etoile band” images and several pics come up of various e-rings with the bands if you want to take a look!

I think I’ve also heard them called scattered diamond bands. I don’t have one but I think they are gorgeous

longtimemrs:  can you post your ring you’re pairing it with??? I know I’ve seen it but want to make sure it’s the one I’m thinking Of. If it’s the white gold or platinum with a round middle and baguettes and stuff, I think this ring would be beautiful with it!!

longtimemrs:  Keep in mind that the etoile band is platinum and likely to scratch more than white gold (if that is what you are getting)! I looove the etoile style. Go for it! At the very worst if it’s horrible you can ship it back to JA!

My sister has one, but I don’t have a photo.  I’m toying with using that style of setting in the ring we’re designing.  I find it very appealing since I like the shimmer of metal.

Heres a couple of gypsy bands I tried on when I was ring shopping. I really liked the thinner band (2nd photo)

longtimemrs:  I do! Mines just like that. It has 12 diamonds going around it and is 2.2mm wide. I love it I see gorgeous rings all the time and sometimes think hmm maybe I should of got that one but Im always glad I got this one. It’s got some sparkle but not too much. I’m in England and we’re a little bit more understated with bling than in the US x
