The ebay one looks similar, but kind of like it’s photoshopped.

@southern_sweetheart91:  that seller has a lot of negatives, a few say that they didn’t get a real diamond, it was just moissanite or the ring looked nothing like the picture. Ebay can be risky but there are some good sellers, finding those is the issue. Perry’s jewelry posts on there. They sometimes have solitaires that are very good prices but don’t usually see halos.

I did a quick search online:What about something like this:http://www.walmart.com/ip/Keepsake-Sincerity-1-2-Carat-T.W.-Diamond-14kt-White-Gold-Engagement-Ring/10340700

$648

Zales: $999 but includes diamond wedding ring too:

Cant stop looking at it, BEAUTIFUL!

FI bought my ring on ebay. Appraised for more than 4 times its value. (Its a little over 1 ct. cushion cut GIA with 1.50 ct micropaved diamonds on the halo/band) I love it and am very happy 🙂

There are some very good jewelry estate/resellers on ebay. Check feedback, make sure they use actual pictures and make sure they have a good return policy. Ask a lot of questions!! I thik ebay is a great way to get a good deal, but also a great way to get screwed. I do not thinnk I would buy a NEW ering on ebay but an estate piece can be a great value.

Search “Lord of Gems” on eBay.  They have good feedback, and do custom stuff, I think.  They could probably do something exactly like what you want, for not as much as a chain store, and you’d probably end up with better diamonds, as well.

I’ve just posted on another thread about this, my ering was from ebay, just a regular seller and it was an absolute steal (used and since appraised for more than 10x what we paid).

The particular private seller agreed to accept it back and give a refund if i was unhappy with it in person, i paid with a credit card via paypal and took it to a local jewellers the day it arrived for them to check it out, so long as it was worth what we paid i would’ve been happy.

I’ve also bought my wedding ring off ebay, new as i couldn’t find what i wanted from the actual art deco period within our price range.  Bought from lord of gem rings and i believe he also has a shop lord of pearls or something along these lines.

Good luck!

or, don’t know what your thoughts are about moissanite but personally if i’d known about it and hadn’t found my e-ring for such a low price, i’d be after this one…

@southern_sweetheart91:  Oh wow, you dodged a bullet! That seller is shady/low qualty.  I had a bad experence with that seller.

Maybe check out pompeii3, they have good prices. They have an ebay store and their own online store. Not the best qualty, but priced well and they are legit.
