Yes! I'm a Hilton Head bride! We're getting married on June 13th! We've literally booked everything...if you have questions on vendors or anything we might be able to help with...I'd be happy to help out!
Neesha
Joelle from Socialite Studios out of Charlestown. I couldn't find anyone that fit what we were looking for and for the price out of Hilton Head. Are you getting married in HH? Who are some of your vendors if so?
What are the prices for venues in HH? I am thinking of having my wedding there but I am not sure it will fit in my small budget.
I am actually a wedding photographer in Charleston. Joelle is so sweet! I think you made a good choice! Good luck!
I think most venue's I came accross range from $1500-$2000 for rental. But what you also have to look out for is the minimum food and beverage amount you are required to spend. One place was $10,000 on Saturday. So you must order and pay for at least $10K in food and drinks, not including tax and gratuity. Pretty steep. Fridays and Sundays were lesser requirements - $5000 or less.
Some of the venues I checked out were:
Honey Horn - looked beautiful, but you had to pay to rent the place and nothing came with it - so you would have to rent your own tables, place settings, chairs, etc. For the 60-80 folks we wanted it would be too expensive.
Windows on the Waterway - Beautiful setting next to a marina, but you have to use Celebration Events as the catereer and they were pretty pricey. You may have to get sponsored by a club member as well, I can't remember.
Sea Pines - they have lots of rental options for the cermony and reception. More reasonable price-wise.
Palmetto Dunes - They have a couple spots to get married. Pretty reasonable. It's where we booked for ours this coming Oct.
Shipyard/Crowne Plaza - Pretty spot, I think the price was in the same range of $1500-$2000 to rent. Right on the beach with more of an indoor set-up right next to the beach for the reception.
That's most of what I found. I'm sure there are tons of other options. Hopefully that helps you some! rosey
We're getting married @ Palmetto Dunes in September 2010, do share after yours in October!
roseya, how was your wedding at Palmetto Dunes??
I'm getting married at the Westin Resort Hilton Head. Booking either Sept 18 or Oct. 23--we have until Friday to finalize.
I'm from Chicago so this is a 'destination' wedding for me. I've always loved the beach/ocean and obviously there's none of that in the midwest :)
I'm also getting married in HHI!!! Not until May 2011 so I would be eternally greatful if any of you lovely ladies would like to share info and pictures of your venues, djs/bands, caterers, florists.....any little detail you would like to share!
So far all I know is the ceremony will be in 1 of the 2 Catholic churches (Holy Family in HHI or St. Gregory the Great in Bluffton)
I've booked Amanda Spencer from Spencer Special Events for a wedding planner. SHE IS AWESOME.

Hi there,
Just looking to see if there are any other Hilton Head brides? We're getting married in Palmetto Dunes in October and we've got the reception spot and videographer. We're are about to book a photographer after a couple intense months of looking. Just wanted to compare notes on vendors, etc.
Rosey :)
