Hi Bees!

So my reception will be outside under a tent in a garden. With our schedule of events sunset will happen pretty much right in the middle of our reception which should be nice for setting the mood for dancing. Our venue doesn’t have a dance floor since the tent covers the whole patio and there is just a designate dance area. I’ve been trying to figure out how to offset the dance floor and would love to do it with lighting, but am not a big fan of the look of paper lanterns with our venue/other decor. I would love some ideas for lanterns I can stand at the dance floor corners or hang from the tent! (No flame candles allowed)

MissGoosie: You can hang any lantern with an LED votive or tealight.
You could also place a lantern on a post in a planter and use those on the corners of the dance floor. You can again use an LEd light or use solar yard lanterns

julies1949: Thank you for the ideas! I will definitely be looking into some of the lantern/outdoor lighting options. I really like your planter idea!

We are using christmas lights (white) under the table cloths at our sweetheart table and I know others that use christmas lights (white) for lighting. You can also make lanterns. It really all depends on what you want to do and what your theme is.
