I don’t have any cute ideas but you might check out Evite.com, pretend you’re making an invitation and in the RSVP option section, you can see some of their pre-filled suggestions for options.  Not sure how wedding-y they are but I remember them being really cute, last time I used that site.

How about something like: No, But I can’t wait to see the photos! or No, but I owe ya one!  or even No, you wouldn’t believe what I have to do that weekend… and then guests could write what their conflict is if they want

We did something a little fun for our RSVP’s.  We wanted our invites to have an overall formal look, but we didn’t want to be TOO serious.

We did:

joyfully accepts

regretfully declines

regretfully accepts

joyfully declines

will not reply, but will ultimately attend

I’m a little nervous about it, we haven’t sent them out yet. Hopefully people have a sense of humor and "get it".  I can just see my 88 year old grandma being confused and checking "joyfully declines." haha

honestly i think some people may be confused by the multiple yes options, and i personally would go with suggestion in #4 instead.

but of course, it depends on your guests too 🙂
