(Closed) any ideas how the arms are made?

wire, I would say- wrapped in electrical tape- you can get tons of colors at a hardware store!!  I used to make flower bouquets out of tissues and make the stems the same way!

Her arms look like some sort of stiff twine. I think there is a spray you can use to do this, here is a post that talks about something that sounds like it could be useful.

It kinda looks to me like pipe cleaners that have been wrung/twisted tightly. Did you ever play with pipe cleaners as a kid, and the more you wrung it, the more the fuzzy stuff got smaller and less fuzzy? I think there are “less fuzzy” pipe cleaners available, too. Does this make sense?

Oh, on closer look, it looks like it might be wire wrapped in a fine string – maybe thread? If the pipe cleaners don’t work, you can try wrapping them with white thread.

to mee it looks like it could be floral wire and then tightly wound thread! =] Love these!

they look like that paper cord stuff you can buy at Michaels to me. You could definitely ‘mold’ it if you were careful.
