The shape is called a quatrefoil or bracket frame.. There have been several posts here on the bee.
Do a search for qautrefoil.
You can also make the shape using the bracket on your keyboard- to the right of the letter "p".
You can rotate the bracket and enlarge it to any size you like.
There are a couple of bracket shapes that you could use on this site: http://www.pixelscrapper.com/marisa-lerin/templates/bracket-shape-3-mat-image-commercial-use-digital-scrapbooking-free-download
Then you could just put the text over the bracket shape for the monogram...

l you amazingly talented brides! I am so impressed with everyone on here....
I was wondering if you guys knew where I could find a template or anything else that would help me get a "scroll-like" text box shape outline for our monogram? (I am NOT very design savvy!)
I'll attach the picture of what I have so far (a boring square box outline) and what I would like to have (a pretty scroll-y shape that I took off a picture on theknot.com)
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
