We had the opportunity today to try some amazing dishes that our venue makes and we decided to give everyone a choice of Fish or Beef. Naturally, I would usually pick the beef, but yall dont understand....this fish was AMAZING. We are having our wedding on the beach and I have never been blown away by fish before, but this stuff was to die for!

How should I word it on the response card? Any clever sounding ideas? I know most people will still get the beef, but Im hoping some my guests will be adventurous :D

Just for the record, the name of the fish dish (hehe) is Tikin-Xic. So, yeah, if I put that on the response card, no one is gonna know what the heck that is! lol

    Thanks for your help

You could say land or sea. Or use little pictures.

Can you describe the sauce its in?  It doesn't make sense to say the name of the fish since almost no one's heard of it and just saying "fish" is kind of weird, but maybe you could say "fish in a lemon beurre blanc sauce" or "grilled fish with a side of garlic mashed potatoes" or whatever it is...that sounds pretty yummy!

Hmm... I think it's hard when you say "fish" because lots of people don't like certain kinds of fish, so I'd be afraid I'd end up with tilapia (blech) on my plate even though I eat almost every other kind.

It appears that Tikin Xic is a preparation method, not a type of fish, so maybe you could find out exactly what kind of fish it is?
