(Closed) Any ideas to prevent melting wedding favors???

I would hand them out as guests are leaving. Just have somebody direct them to a cooler or mini fridge/freezer that they are all in so they can grab them on the way out.

If you decide to go the way of ice packs, look for the chemical ones that they use for packing fish to fly/ship home. As long as they don’t spring a leak, they’re completely harmless and they stay colder longer than actual ice.

Maybe a cooler with those icepacks to transport them and keep them cool until they need to be set out. But I don’t think you would want to keep them in the cooler the whole time….that might look weird.

dry ice. you won’t need a lot and you can get it at most grocery stores. I would just put some in a cooler pop the favors in over some cardboard (dry ice will freeze the water in the air and make wet ice so protect them) and bring them out at the last minute. you could also do jam or something that doesn’t melt- but I like the chocolate idea. you could also get little metal birdcages and fill them with non melting yummy things.
