Love that dress! It looks great on you!
Here is mine, hot off the presses (Please excuse my seamstress in the background):
I wore a Jim Hjelm Dress (JH8765) - I believe it is pictured (ad nauseum) in my bio.
LOVE(D) it and STILL get compliments on it! I <3 Jim Hjelm!
Me!!! I'm a Jim Hjelm bride!
I will be wearing JH8962. Here are some pics of me in the dress when I tried it on at the bridal store.

I LOVE IT!!! The end of June can't get here quickly enough (that's when she should arrive and I can try her on again)!!!
@BackyardLoveBird: Your dress is beautiful! It's so unique and romantic. I love the pale blue underlay.
@winklkr: We're dress twins!! I just ordered mine yesterday and I cannot wait to try her on again!! What color dress/sash did you get? By the way, it looks great on you =)
@krobbie - Eek, sorry my reply took so long. It's great to finally find a dress twin! I got the ivory dress with the champagne sash. What did you get?
Oops, this is my first post and I may have accidentally sent it twice. If so, sorry!!
I just bought my Jim Hjelm, Style 1000 this weekend. I can't really pull off the strapless look and this dress was sooo comfortable. I love it! I can't wait to wear it officially :)
It originally had a flower at the waist but I'll take that off and add a belt with some bling. I love that the back has some drama as well. And it has pockets!

I have not tried any Jim Hjelm gowns on yet, but I love the designs. JH8814 is on my list of top three dream gowns!

Here is mine! I carried a picture of it in my purse for 6 months. After trying at least 50 dresses in my hometown, I finally went to Kleinfeld to try this dress. I love it! Done and done. :)

I keep looking through the boards for a Jim Hjelm post, but I've found nothing. Anyone end up with a Hjelm dress? I happen to find a dress of this line online looking for lace and I loved the scalloped neckline - the 8663. It changed what I thought I wanted my dress to look like entirely. I tried a few dresses on at a bridal boutique (not the exact dress as they didn't have it) and decided to have a seastress make the dress with a few changes. The lace was EXPENSIVE, but overall I"m saving about $1,000 off retail not including alterations this way. Anyway, anyone else a Jim Hjlem bride? Pics?
I will try to post some pics of the dress I had made. I'm supposed to go for my first fitting tomorrow!!!!!!!
