It's so neat to see others with the same date! And June 15th is still pretty close! ;) Woo hoo for June 2013 brides!
We don't have an absolute date yet, but June 2013is looking like the month!
We were going to do June 22, but decided to move it to the 24th to save money at our ceremony venue. But still close!
So how far in advance have you ladies started the planning? We've been engaged for 10 months now (long engagement for financial reasons) and I've basically been waiting and waiting and waiting with the planning. That said, we've got a date, a church, a reception venue and a dress. So I guess my claims that I have been waiting with the planning are somewhat invalid. What sort of schedule do you think is reasonable?
WooHoo 2013! It still seems so far away (500+ days) - but we are June 2, 2013. We did get a relatively quick jump on things - having already booked our venue, DOC, ceremony musicians, officiant, and photog. We're currently working on pinning down the DJ and florist. As for a dress, I was originally thinking I'd start looking this December but was afraid that'd be too soon. Not sure when I will do that.
There are not many nice reception sites in my area, so we booked that pretty quick. As of now we have the reception site, church and photographer. Plus a gazillion other things in the planning/conceptual stages. So excited!
June 22nd 2013 will be our 5 year anniversary, which is why we chose it :) were not even engaged yet (because money is tight) but i have definitly started planning cant wait :) so excited there are more of us :)
Newly engaged and definately will have a June 2013 wedding! The exact date is undecided. I have obviously been looking at ideas but we have not made anything official yet. I really want a church ceremony and an evening outside reception but obviously nervous about Oklahoma weather. How am I supposed to deal with that? I have no idea what I am doing but OH SO EXCITED!! glad to be on board of the June 2013 weddings!

June 22nd right here !! :) indeed it is a pretty long countdown but with all there is to do its well worth it lol. but im extra excited ! yayyy for June 2013 brides !
June 22, 2013! We just mailed our contract and deposit to book our venue!
June 22, 2013 also! We have our ceremony and reception venues booked. Lots of decisions to come this summer when I have time off!
Close.. June 21 2013! I was thinking of doing June 22nd, because it's a Sat, but June 21 is more significant for me. I Always, seriously, wanted to get married June 21, since I was little. Since it's my half bday and both my parents were born on the 21st (of different months), I just had too! Our anniversary is in July so I considered that too, but I know I chose the right date!

June 22! So far we've only booked the venue and picked our caterers (they are attached to the venue) but I'm starting to search for DJs and photographers :) I'm thinking of going dress shopping in June/July :) :) :) SO exciting!!!
I'm June 22! We've just booked our venue and I'm waiting to hear back from my dream photographer to see if he's available. Venue is doing the catering/cake, so that's one less thing I need to schedule. Have an appointment with a designer next month to look into designing a custom made dress!! Booking the venue makes it seem so much more real!
Hello June 22nd twins! Sound like many of you have done so much already! We booked our venue back in February (it's so competitive here that we got our 3rd choice!) and I'm obsessed with photography so I booked our photographer pretty soon after that and am planning for our engagement shoot for Memorial Day weekend.
Other than that, I've been having initial conversations with caterers and have Mid-June bridal dress appointments set up.
I really didn't want to start too early lest I get buyer's remorse. I feel your pain with the long planning process! However, it seems like once you hit that 12 month period, it'll all start to pick up pretty quickly!
I also have a pretty good timeline set up (I'm a brand marketer and deal with product launch timelines on a daily basis) so if any of you want that template, PM me and I'd be happy to send it over!
Hey other June 22 girls what time of day are you getting married? Still not sure here, thinking early evening.
@rachelh: Probably late afternoon - 3 or 4ish. Still need to hash out the details but plenty of time left for that :-) Here in England you have to be married before 6pm otherwise the marriage isn't legally valid.
@lilcshelli: We're also doing our engagement pictures Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately we didn't realize that was the date when we chose it do it on the Gettysburg Battlefield :-( it's going to be packed!
