Me me me!! I wasn’t going to post pics on here for privacy reasons, but what the heck! Here I am in this lovely <3 It’s the sample so it’s way flat… and too big… and ivory. Mine will be white and have more poof (I hope). The only thing I don’t like about this dress is having to wait almost a full year for it to come in!!

PS I don’t know if you watch SYTTD, but there was a rerun on the other day with a bride who totally tried on our Nora! Made my heart flutter to see it in action haha

Thanks, you look pretty spectacular in it yourself 🙂 Its the episode with the opera singer and her opera entourage (plus a large cardboard cut-out of her man).. everyone liked the Nora but her. Ah well. Smart of you to leave it at the store!! I would be tempted to play dress-up every day too. I got mine from Kleinfeld, and I’m pretty sure they order according to your wedding date – so that it ends up coming in only a few months prior. I had to haggle to get it a wee bit earlier since I’m out of state, but it still makes me nervous to know that I’ll only have a few months to have all the alterations done and just hope that nothing goes horribly wrong with it.

@couawilou:

too funny, I am completely loving this dress… we may not only be twin month, twin area, maybe twin dress.   Oct 19, 2012 Mississauga.   I’m in Vancouver right now, but back to Ontario in the fall to look at BM dresses.  Which bridal store had the Nora?  Limited Maggie’s available in Vancouver.

@couawilou:

I was thinking Ritche Bridal on Avenue near Lawrence.  I was there trying on dresses in the spring and they had a whole floor of them….unless you know of a better place.  I grew up in Mississauga, but have been living in Vancouver for the last 10yrs

Hi I am selling a Maggie Sottero ‘Nora’ dress  Size 10 if anyone is interested. It is a beautiful dress, I just happened to fall in love with two dresses and I have decided to sell this one. It will arrive at the bridal salon at the end of Oct 2011 in Southern California. I paid 1620 for the dress, also purchased a matching veil total cost for both with tax 1939.00. Save some money, Make me an offer I would love for someone to have it for their wedding day instead of sitting in my closet. Congratulations on your weddings!

@kdtw: You look beautiful in the gown!!! If I didn’t already have my Nora, your pic would make me want one 🙂 Do you have a pic of the veil if you’re selling that too? I’m still on the hunt for a veil…

This is me in nora on my wedding day 3 weeks ago. I know i wanted to see what it would look like in real life so I hope this helps you. I had half the train removed and wore it with a very small hoop. x
