I know there have to be some of you out there – there were quite a few people at the open house they held in the loft a few weeks ago.
I’m having concerns about the heating (or lack thereof) for my November wedding. Is anyone else getting married there in the fall or winter?

The open house was nice, I don’t remember who catered it but it was one of their preferred vendors and it was delicious. Very well done.
I didn’t consider the fact that the barn has no temperature control b/c we were there on an unseasonably warm weekend in Sept/Oct. But when my mom and I went to the event a few weeks ago it was COLD. November is so unpredictable. Anyway they had heaters set up around plus the place was not full so I’m sure it’ll be fine. However consider women in strapless gowns (ourselves included!) and whatnot. I don’t want anyone to be uncomfortable!
Darren said they were working on estimates for cooling/heating this year, but it’s not guaranteed anything will be done. What he DID guarantee (and I had him ammend my contract with this) is that the bathrooms will be installed by the date of my wedding. That’s a plus!
I often think I could have made life a lot easier for myself if we’d just gone with a hall, but I couldn’t sacrafice our vision! I think all the hiccups will be worth it for the weddings we’ll have there 🙂
