We're October 12th - planning to send invites mid-August with an RSVP date of Sept 12th. No A-list and B-list.
I'm one week earlier than you on Oct. 11..... but if it helps, I'm sending my invites the first week of August. My RSVP is Sept. 15th. I'm not doing a B-List, but did want to give people a good amount of time to respond. Plus the extra padding between my final numbers deadline & the RSVP date will give me time to track down missing ones.
You guys are awesome! and fast!!
I was so worried I was sending too late and my RSVP was too early.
My RSVP is October 1, and I was thinking of sending mid-August. I have an A-list and B-list.
Thanks!!
Close - I'm October 12. I'm sending mine mid-August, but it's a destination wedding with a small guest list (around 50) so everyone already knows anyway.
just a word of caution: guests typically do find out if you do an A-list and a B-list...so be careful
My wedding is October 18th and we just sent out our invites out yesterday. We did it a little early as were having a Destination Wedding in Santa Barbara. I've asked guests to respond by Sept. 18th so we have some extra time to make the seating chart and get a final head count.
We're getting married October 11th, but in Canada that is Thanksgiving weekend. I sent out our invites last week. Our RSVP deadline is Sept 1 - my venue needs final numbers 30 days in advance! Eeek. So, the early RSVP combined with a holiday weekend meant that my invites went out pretty early. Oh well, I was excited to get them out anyways!
My friend is October 10th and I got her invite this week -- she's got a lot of travelers for hers, though.
100 days!!!
i'm an oct 18th bride, too. thanks for asking this question because i have no clue when invitations are to be sent out! honestly, i'm depending on my wedding planner for that. alto, i'm laughing at myself about this because i never actually thought about when to send them out: i'm still trying to figure out how i want them to look! DIY overload.
i'm not an october bride, but i sent mine out two months before the wedding, with an RSVP date of one month before the wedding. :) we didn't have an A list or B list either.

Silly question, I know, but when are you sending out your invitations? Are you sending out earlier because you have an A-list and a B-list?
When is your RSVP date? Did you make it earlier to do your seating chart?
Thanks!
