Well, mine came in last week.  Or this week?  Sometime.  Work has been so busy, I haven’t had time to call the person to ask her about pick up.  And given the way my life is for the next few weeks, I may not be getting it until the end of June.

So…similiar situation.  🙂  It’ll be fine.

i have my dress (bought at filene’s running of the brides sale, so i took it home that day), only I CAN’T FIT INTO IT!! LOL, i wish i was kidding. i’m planning on putting a corset back on it, but am losing weight & have no idea where i’ll be by oct 1st (have a history of rapid crash diets & weight loss under stress, so it could be a lot, or it could not), so i don’t want to do it too soon. wouldn’t it be nice if you could pause the clock while others who are working on your wedding stuff could catch up- making dresses, printing invites, etc! wishing the was more time/energy to get things done, but wishing the wedding day would hurry up & get here, such an odd feeling!

No and I’m beyond not happy about it.  I ordered it in November.  I was told that it would take 12-16 weeks.  Well, um 4 months was the end of March.  I was then told that you had to take out the month of January for the Chinese New Year.  And then I was told that it is wedding season so things take longer.  Shouldn’t that be built into the estimate?  Like more of the 16 week side?  It’s been more than 6 months.  I was told it would be in at the end of May and that came and went.  My thought is that they aren’t too worried b/c my date isn’t until October.  Damn, I should have listened to everyone when they said LIE about your wedding date.  I was just too excited at the time and like saying the actual date.  Time to call the salon again!!!

Nope, and I’m definitely not stressing out about it.  I ordered it toward the end of March, and was told it would be 4-6 months.  The dress shop called a couple of weeks after it was ordered and said that it was scheduled to come in at the beginning of August! As long as it comes in a few weeks before the wedding, I’ll be fine.  I don’t think I’ll need drastic alterations, but it will definitely need to be hemmed!

ha, i ordered my dress in december and it won’t come in until mid-August!  But i know that’s plenty of time and, quite frankly, i have nowhere to put it anyway!

I ordered mine after Thanksgiving last year and got it in March of this year. It’s in the closet now waiting to see the seamtress.

I ordered mine in January and it is scheduled to ship in exactly 6 days which means it should be here around the 22nd of this month.  Now you all have me worried it will be late!

@UpstateCait: My ordered my gown February 5th and it isn’t due to come in until the end of July. I am not stressing about it since I know I still have plenty of time to get alterations done. I think you will be ok too:)

no! it’s not in my possession! argh! and i feel like i’m forgetting what it looks like! it’s had round 1 of alterations, now i have an appointment at the beginning of july to get hem/bustle, and i can hardly wait to have it! (what if the alterations place burns down?! plus, i really want to try it on with the accessories that i am slowly accumulating…)

I ordered mine in February and they also told me 12 weeks, but I think I should have enough time for alterations etc before the actual wedding date.

I am anxious though because I havent seen myself in it since February. Anyone else feel the same way?
