@brendaparisbride:  I’ve considered it but their prices seem INSANE to me and my budget.

I was considering it because I’m going to a wedding and on vacation (to Vegas) next week, but when I saw the prices and the time that you have to return a dress, it didn’t work for me.  I’m also very petite, and I’d hate to spend $75+ to “rent” a dress that is way too long on me.  I think if you are invited to a bunch of weddings that you know you would otherwise be spending $100+ per dress for dresses you’ll only wear once, and you’re average height/size, then RTR makes sense.

@brendaparisbride:  I have considered it for various occasions but between their prices and timelines it just was too complicated without spending a ton of money.

I rented a dress from there for a ball I went to recently and my experience was very good. They have lots of size options in most dresses including shorter and taller sizes. They give very good details about how the dress fits, if it has stretch, how tall your shoes should be depending on your height. And they also have real person reviews that are very helpful. They also give you a free rental of the same dress in a different size as a backup and a third dress of your choice for an extra $25 as a second back up which i was glad i took advantage of because i ended up wearing my 3rd back up dress. I’d use them again if I was attending another event that required a formal dress.

I plan on using it!  I have a wedding and rehearsal dinner in one night.  It is very hard to find trendy, stylish dresses for a baby bump so I will be using them for that occasion.  I’ve bought two other dresses that cost well over $100 each so to hit up two events in one dress for $100 that retails for $600 is a bargain. 🙂

Yes I’ve rented many times ! I always rent for weddings that we are invited to or for special occasions like fancy parties etc.  I rented for my bachelorette party but found two great dresses  elsewhere for my shower and rehearsal .  I believe your first ‘purchase ‘ entitles you to $25 off!

i’ve rented from them. i had great experiences. their customer service is awesome. they mixed up my order for new year’s eve a year and a half ago so they let me pick out whichever dresses i wanted and sent them to me for free (i had already paid for the original rental so i didn’t have to pay for these dresses which rented for more money than what i had ordered). they have tons of dresses for under $100 and some are only $50 so the pricing isn’t bad. i haven’t rented any of the really expensive dresses because i don’t have anywhere to wear them.

They don’t have the best reviews.  Also, they have an insane amount of filtered reviews on yelp…over 100 filtered reviews, and most of them are 1 star.
