  • Wedding: May 2014

I got married in Cincinnati in 2014. It’s my hometown, although I’ve not lived there in years. I did get married on a Sunday, not because of all of the available deals, but that certainly was a nice perk.

I am from the Cincy tri-state area, but I got married in the Outer Banks, NC, so I am not much help!!

My cousin got married at Cincinnati Music Hall.  They had the ceremony in the foyer and the reception was in the Ballroom upstairs.  It was gorgeous!!!  I think they paid around $20,000 – $25,000 for the venue though!

  • Wedding: May 2014 - Muhlhauser Barn

We got married at Muhlhauser Barn in West Chester back in 2014 —  great place for brides who plan to do a lot of DIY and are on a budget. The last two weddings I’ve been to locally have been at a hotel down by UC and the Bel-Wood Country Club in Morrow, both fun places for weddings for different reasons!

faymeetscincy:  20th Century Theater may be worth looking into too — I was engaged when I was younger (didn’t get married though) and my ex and I were planning to get married there. They have some pretty good discounts for Friday weddings and are all inclusive if I remember correctly. The prices weren’t too bad when we were planning, although this was 8 or so years ago 🙂

  • Wedding: November 2016

Me!  I live in NKY but work in downtown Cincinnati.

We looked all over.  Originally, I was going with the Hall of Mirrors or Music Hall but Music Hall is undergoing renovations.  I then became torn between the Bell Event Centre and the Hall of Mirrors and decided to do a 180 and chose The Madison Event Center in Covington, KY  The ballroom is very elegant and ultimately allowed me to splurge on some other things.  I think my parents ended up happy, too!

If I could do an outdoor wedding I’d do Inn at Oneonta (wedding is in November so I’m staying indoors in case).

I live in Cincinnati! Our wedding is 6/24/17.  We’ll get married at our Catholic church.  The reception will be at Mill Race Banquet Center (winton woods gold course).  We recently attended a wedding at the Bell Event Center.  It’s simply beautiful!  I’d love to chat more!
