If so, would you be interested in a WW accountability thread?

I have been "back" to WW about a month. I had done it for awhile lost 30lbs then had to stop when I lost my job. Now that I am working I am back. I gained 10lbs while I was home 5 months so my goal is to lose that 10 and anything after that is a bonus. My wedding is 7/10/10

I would love a WW accountability thread!

I have been "trying" to get back into it - this time last year I lost 25 lbs on WW and over the year i gained 10lbs back - GRRRRR

I really need to get back into it seriously and I think having an accountability thread will help!!!!

FutureMrsMartin and CuteMommie- You sound like me. I lost 25lb and have put 9lb back on. Guess what, stopping counting and going back to old habits makes you put on weight!

Who here goes to WW classes? When I am on plan I try and always go. It does make a difference. This week was about looking for non-scale victories- trying to look at other changes apart from weight. It was quite inspiring- a lady who never walked now going on a hiking holiday for two weeks, a lady who used to struggle with walking and wearing a UK size 24 (US20) and now a UK 10 (US6) who runs half marathons. The lady showing us how many notches on her wrist watch she has gone down. The man telling us how is cholesterol levels have gone down.

All amazing and inspirational. Made me focus on how I need to be a bit more of a healthy weight so that I can do more for a family. DF and I are getting married to start our own family, and I want to be as healthy as possible for optimal fertility and to be able to enjoy a long healthy life with them.

I think this would be great. I'm not really actively doing it now (although I think I will start again in the next few weeks... no real time or energy to work out means I need to be a lot more careful on the diet!), but when I start again I could totally use some support. :) I don't know about you guys, but living on 19 points a day made me pretty cranky.

I have lost 7lbs so far, but we are going to St Lucia for our honeymoon and I want to look better for that more than the wedding I think! LOL..I was a size 18 when I started in the 190's now I'm in the 160's and in a 14.

Yay!  Let's just use this thread if everyone is ok with that.

I've been doing it for a month now and have lost 11 lbs!  Woot!

I have 14 to go to get to my "goal" weight and if I can lose any on top of that I'll be thrilled!

My parents did Weight Watchers a few years ago, and I'm like a walking testimonial for them ~ I tell EVERYONE about their points system. :) My mom lost something like 30+ pounds in one summer (Dad didn't have as much to lose) and she's kept it off.

    You go girls!

I lost almost 40 lbs on WW!!  I swear by them...it has been the only thing that has worked for me, that and working out!  I started WW back in 2002 and gladly kept it off (+ or - 5 lbs during vacation and holidays!)  To this day I still count my points, its more of a LIFESTYLE change and not just a diet!  You bees keep up the good work and stay on track!!

    How are our days going?

I had a training day at a hotel, so took lunch in incase it was unhealthy. Luckily it was poached salmon, new potatoes and salad with fresh fruit for desert, so I could join in. So many times events I go to have muffins and chips (fries) and baskets of biscuits. I must go to at least 2 of these things a week, and no wonder the lbs crept back on!

Last might I made delish salsa verde with half the olive oil and a bit of water to make it sludgy. Low point- about 0.5 per tablespoon, and really jazzes up grilled fish, lamb and chicken. Woop woop!

Yesterday was such a blow-out junk food day that I decided to start up again TODAY, not in a few weeks. I'm already hungry. :) Anyone know of a good 7 point dinner? :)

FI made me some oatmeal with apple this morning--it started raining in LA today and it seemed like a better day for oatmeal than cold cereal, my usual--and I've got my morning snack and lunch sitting in my office fridge. But I have class late tonight right after work, so remembering not to buy that soda and gummi bears might be harder than usual today ;).

I would be up for that! I've been on it for over a year, and have gained some of mine back. My wedding was in May, but I want to keep going on it.

    A thread would help immensely!

I've got eggs, tofu, veggies, rice, pasta, tortillas, bread, cheese, salami. Currently I'm thinking of frying up an egg or two with the veggies and a piece of tortilla because it's fast and I am going to be pretty run down by the time I get home, but I am open to suggestions because I think it's kind of a weird dinner. :)

So far so good here!  I have all meals/snacks planned out, except for dinner and I'm sure I'll be able to pull something together with no issues tonight.

Bees, I just wanted to recommend a site that has helped me throught the years doing WW!  I recommend this to all my coworkers how are doing it too!  DWLZ has recipes and points to so many restaurants!  So I hope this helps in your journey!

As for today, I'm doing okay!  I just got done writing my points, so if I can get through this afternoon without messing up until I get home, I'm good!

I am doing good today. Had poached eggs on toast for breakfast, some couscous and roasted peppers for lunch and deciding what to have for my dinner.

I've ended up below points for most days this week, but that is because I am waiting for the weekend.

I have in chicken breasts, lemongrasss, ginger and garlic as well as some veg. I'm thinking Thai style stuff.

Just out of curiosity- how many of my WWing Bees actually fill in a tracker and go to meetings.

I don't go to meetings, but I fill in a tracker--I use a Google docs spreadsheet so I can do it anywhere. :)

Today I had a delish breakfast of yogurt and pomegranate seeds, and I snacked on raw carrots and lite string cheese. Still figuring out lunch, but dinner will be beef and vegetable stew. Yum. Warm.

I find that if I stop going to meetings, then I stop tracking, then it all falls apart and the weight slips back on.

joeyemma... I am at that point right now.. I stopped tracking since june .. I haven't been to weekly meetings and have lost motivation. I have to get myself back on track. Obviously something is sticking... I haven't gained it all back but I haven't lost anymore. :(

Doing surprisingly well, actually! I think this weekend might be a bust, though... Restaurant Week in LA and my coworkers all want to go out for lunch (three courses at lunch? BOO) and I already have plans with one of my bms to go to happy hour this evening; another friend is throwing a champagne tasting party tomorrow night (like we'll actually be able to taste anything the way she hosts! ;); and Sunday I'm visiting my dad's sister whose mission in life is to feed everyone (delicious, amazing homemade Pakistani food) until they pop.

I've been saving my weekly points and accumulating activity points in advance. ;)

I didn't do GREAT this weekend, but I didn't do terrible either.  I'm still losing each week (yay!), but am really going to step up and watch my eating better this week.

I'm also doing Weight Watchers. I paid for an online subscription for like, 4 months, so I really need to stick with it. I want to lose 20 pounds before the wedding, or at the very least, 2 inches from my bust line measurements.

I'm SO down for a WW thread.  I LOVE WW and I just hit my 25 pounds.  I still have about 20-25 to go.  We'll see.  I don't really focus on the weight.  I'm more about what size I wear and how toned my body is.  My meetings are every Tuesday and they are what KEEPS me going!!  This thread will help.

As for today- I did great with food, didn't use any extra points and I hit the gym for a couple hours!!

wow peaceluvin..a couple of hours!? That's great!

I've been doing weight watchers on and off for about 3 years.  I lost a total of 25 pounds. If it wasn't for WW I don't think I could have done it.

My goal right now it to stick with 20points and not use ANY extra points b/c my wedding is in 23 days!!! I don't have much to lose but I definitely don't want to gain!

This will be a great thread for me!

I'm also doing the hardcore Shred! It's a toughy but we gotta keep at it!

I started back to WW on October 5th and so far I've lost 12.4 pounds. Tonight is weigh-in for me...fingers crossed, cause I've had a bit of a difficult week.

Here's a website with some AMAZING WW recipes...http://weight-watchers-points-recipes.blogspot.com/

I just signed up again for the online program last night.  The iPhone tool was what finally convinced me.  I seriously need to get my eating under control -- the past few weeks I've been getting a candy bar and a (diet) soda with lunch every day, not good!  I'm hoping renewing my commitment to WW will help me shed pounds before the holidays and prevent gain during them.

There is an Iphone WW app? What is it called? Is it just for the online program or can anyone use it?

Just to check in, I had a really good week two weeks ago, 1.2 down and then last week I was trying to decide what to do and did not go. What is everyone doing here? 12 week program, or 6 month pass? Are you doing Momentum or Flex? Are you counting points?

I think the iphone app is called WW mobile.  It's great.

I rejoined back in September, stalled out around my bday in October, and am back in action.  5 down!

I'm doing it more for a healthy life/TTC than for the wedding.  Anything I lose before then is bonus.
