We got a yogurt maker as a wedding gift and just recently started using it. I’m really enjoying it, especially now that I’ve learned how to strain it and turn it into Greek yogurt.
I would like to find something to do with the leftover whey. I’ve seen a few things online about how it’s rich in enzymes, etc. and it’s a shame to let it go to waste. I’m looking for ideas on how to put it to use.
If anyone has any suggestions, I’d be happy to hear them!

you can use it in your oatmeal, to cook your grains in like rice or pasta etc.
add it to smoothies.
use it in place of water or milk when baking
add it to homemade soups
give it to to your dog/cat
use it in a marinade (similar to the way you would use buttermilk to tenderize)
