I have become a weather tracking machine. I think I look about 2-3 times a day to see if there are any changes. Right now its going to be partly cloudy which is just fine in my book.
I am sure that come Christmas, I will be a wreck! Future in-laws are coming from 4 hours away, so I am praying for good weather for their drive more then anything else!
i'm already married but going to a wedding next weekend out of town so i keep checking the weather! haha
i was guilty of this the weeks leading up to my wedding too.
you guys are so close!!! Enjoy every second of it!
I wasn't, but seeing this topic made me run to the weather website!!! My wedding is still too far away though to make it on to the extended forecasts. *sigh*
Hah I'm sure this time next week I'll be right there with you. I mean, it's Texas so it's not like some freak blizzard is likely to pop up...but I just don't want it to be rainy and miserable!
I've been tracking the weather nonstop! Up until a few days ago, it has been really warm and dry. Now the forecast for the wedding day says cold and blustery :( I'm just hoping our guests flying in won't run into any snowstorms or delays in other states!
@yellowshoe: Weather.com has a 30 day tracker, and you can see what the averages are. :) Dec 17 in Southern California averages 68 degrees - yay!
@yellowshoe: Its driving me NUTS!...is it terrible that Im checking last year and the year before's history! LOL!
@CupCakeMeg: What really sucks is that last year on the weekend of the 10th, it was sunny and warm. But the weekend we get married, it was raining last year!!
I am now D: its saying high of 55 on the big day, hope its true! I know some of my jerky family will not be apologetic to not show up if theres even a tiny bit of snow falling
I'm keeping an eye on this years weather just to know what to expect for next year. I'm timing sunsets and everything.
YES.
I am waiting for the inevitable northern Illinois blizzard (the last four years, like clockwork, northern IL. has had a 6+ inch blizzard the first week of December).
They are calling for snow this weekend.
Our wedding is two hours away... YIKES...
Checking incessantly. Looks like 46 and partly cloudy. Works for me! Now if it will only stay that way!
@Coffee cup: I did that once we booked our venue, start watching the time changes, or google it! =) Then you could get an EXACT time frame!
@Dec-bride: Thats what I thought too, we actually had a bit of rain last December. eeek. But whatever, I love the rain, just dont want to be dragging my big ass gown in the wet and heck the night we met it POURED! Just going to go with it; definitely something we cant control!
Any ladies ever see the post on WB a while back about a girl getting hit with a rain storm, were getting married outdoors at a barn or something, they photographed the whole thing, it was kind of awesome to see! =) They made the best of it.
And then that Arizona dust storm where the couple just kept GOING! Screw that! I'd be inside!
Oh yeah, I'm all over the Weather Network's 14 Day Forecast right now! We're getting married outside in Lake Louise, so we've got to be mindful of the weather- historically speaking the town is either in the minus single digits or in the minus 20's depending on the year. Hoping for the former!
@FutureJessicaMcB: THANK YOU for posting about this site! :) The USA version (The Weather Channel) only has a 10-day forecast, which I've been obsessing over... But even though the site you posted is based out of Canada, I looked up my Mississippi wedding that's 14 days away, and YAY! It's predicting clear skies and nice temps! Fingers crossed it stays that way!!! :)
NJ BRIDE HERE AHHHHH..... PARTLY CLOUDY W/ 45 DEGREE WEATHER.... I'LL TAKE IT BETTER THAN A SNOWY FORCAST .
Right now it says sunny and 61... but Friday now says showers which scares me, because yesterday it said showers thursday...
As of 12/11/2011 @ 11:25PM LAGUNA BEACH WEATHER! =)
We are still okay @yellowshoe!!

@CupCakeMeg: Yes! The weather is making me nervous! But we are looking good! =)
I just saw a forecast for the Philadelphia area and it will be 45 degrees and partly sunny. I hope there is no rain.

Maybe because we're at a risk for a freak snow storm this time of year that could keep everyone stranded, but I can't help looking at the forecast for Saturday! Of course, it changes every day... so far, it's at cloudy and -2 Celcius, which would actually be pretty nice! Not too cold, but not so warm that it'll be mucky like it has been lately.
Anyone else looking at the forecast? Or, married bees, were you frequently checking it?
