when are you in the planning process?
We're probably getting married in early June 2010. Seems so far away.
I'm a May 2010 bride, but I haven't seen much activity on the boards for that month! Good luck to everyone with their planning :)
Doesn't it like ages from now? F and I have been engaged since last July so it's going to be almost a two year engagement...
It does seem like a long time -- but we're glad we have that time so we can pay for our entire wedding and not have to put any on credit cards or go into debt.
As for where we are in the process, we have our reception location nailed down, and we're still working on a church. I've been looking at dresses, but haven't decided on anything (and probably won't until summertime).
We just booked the church today for June 12, 2010! I can't wait to start all the planning now!

Where are all of you in your planning processes? What colors are you using?
FH and I are June 2010, no date yet as we're leaving all our options open should we fall in love with a venue. When we got engaged in November i thought it would be so long till the wedding, but already time is flying by and I not sure what to do about it. Reception: Tent at the Jersey Shore, Colors: deffinately sage/clover green Everything else: still working on it. 
I'm June 19,2010 also. We are having our reception ourdoors at a relative's home. We have a church reserved and we have a photographer who we are testing in May with an engagement session. I'm currently requesting quotes from DJs and looking into caterers. We want a buffet of comfort foods. I'm stressing a little about the caterer and rentals (tent/chairs/tables/linens/dance floor/nice "port-a-potty"). We are getting married in West Falmouth and our color is navy blue with an accent color being green (a crisp green). It seems far away but I know it's going to fly by. I will feel so much better when we have our DJ and caterer!
I am June 12,2010 and it feels like FOREVER away. I can't stop wanting to plan and organize. Right now I'm working on Save The Dates since so many of my friends are going to weddings in the next two years, I want them to make sure they come to ours!
WOO HOO. I am June 18th 2010. It does seem far but we are footing the bill on our own and its feels good to have some time to save and not go into credit debt. Right now my colors are yellow and navy . I am having trouble waiting to plan so I have just started. I look it as a good thing.. all of my final decisions will be super informed because i will have a lot of time to research.
We're looking at May/June 2010 on Long Beach Island, New Jersey in a tent. (I had to look twice @ flipflop's post to make sure it wasn't mine! I have a dress, wedding song and lanterns for the tent!
We're going with a beach theme (ceremony will be on the beach) and colors are going to be aquas, turquoises, etc, kind of like bach glass. :-)
We are looking at the first weekend in June 2010. At this point we are still looking for a venue. Already have a photographer I mind because she is a college friend of mine. I have lots of ideas but nothing concrete. Besides finding a venue the hardest thing is picking out a color scheme.
I'm getting married in an orchard at a local farm. I'm going for the whole rustic elegance thing. Right now my colors are spring green, gerbera daisy pink (my favorite flowers) and ... chocolate brown. I know it's not a very summery color, but I LOVE Mrs. Coconut's wedding party photos with the guys in the tan suits and the girls in brown tea-length dresses. So pretty! I'm hoping the flowers will brighten it up, and if not, we can do sashes or something. We've got our photographer picked, but that's all so far. Sometimes if feels like a long time till June 19, 2010, and sometimes it seems really close!
Has anyone chosen/asked their wedding party members yet? How many are you having?
Meggs, We are date twins! I have my photog & bagpiper. We have our church and reception site (relative's home). Our colors are navy & a very crisp green (think limes - the actual fruit, not the lt green color). We have asked our attendents. I have 4 BM's, 3 JrBM's & a flower girl. My FI has 5 groomsman and a jr.groomsman.
Yay Miss Tulip! June 19, 2010 is my parents' 25th wedding anniversary, so I was super excited to book that date! I'm planning on asking 5 of my best friends to be my bridesmaids, but I haven't asked yet! I should probably get on that ...
June 26, 2010...We're planning a destination wedding to Jamaica. Even though it seems like a long way to go, I know time will probably fly by and we'll all be married before we know it!!

We are getting married in June 19, 2010 as well. So far alot has been done...I bought my dress, we booked the venue, found a DJ and bought the wedding rings. The wedding will be outdoors, as well as the reception, at a historic estated in the area where we live. Colors are various shades of pinks and greens.

We're hoping for June 19, 2010 because it's our 6 and a half year anniversary! :) Since we just became 'officially engaged' yesterday (ahhh!), I haven't planned anything yet!
Im lookinf for june 19, 2010 too. i know it seems sooooo far away.
We are June 13, 2010. We have our church/venue and photographer booked! And yes I asked all my BM's so far but FI has not asked his GMs yet. I wish it were sooner!

Um ... we live super close and our weddings are on the same day and they're both outside and our colors are pink and green. Great minds think alike, right?
June 12, 2010 here! It seems so far away! We've booked the reception venue and are in talks with a church we like. That's about it. =)
I am June 12, 2010 as well! We've booked the ceremony and are working on the reception - but my fiance has had to do all the real work so far since I am still overseas until this June. But once I get back I expect things will pick up. :-)

I reallllly hope I can still have my wedding June 5, 2010. Probably not though...my FI is in the Air Force and will probably be leaving soon. Keeping my fingers crossed.
My wedding is May 30th, 2010, close to June! :)
I have my venue picked out and now I'm onto photographers! Met the first one and loved him and meeting 2 more this weekend! Starting to think about colors now.....I'm thinking navy and yellow!
