I think I'm feeling something similar at this point in the process. It's also b/c for me, all of the larger details have been finalized. I don't need to keep looking at floral arrangements and invites b/c everything's been confirmed/ordered. It's harder for me to care about things like booking the mini bus or get excited about actually buckling down addressing the 100 invites. I think I'll get a boost of wedding-energy when I go for my first fitting next week though.
me me me me me!!!!! I can't believe how much my drive to do projects has become nonexistant recently :( someone give me some inspiration and get me moving!!
I am too no one told me how long making a wedding registry could take....I'm on day two of it and I am exhausted but almost done! ...so many things to do still!!
I have only a 9 month enagement with only 4 months to go and I feel like I have done nothing! The only DIY I have begun and completed was our guestbook...so that makes 1 out of about 100 DIYs. I am also hoping for a surge in creativity and motivation within the next month or so. I also still have not met with a florist or even thought about invites (did send STD this week). Well- I alway said I'm a professional procrastinator and work better under a do or die time crunch.
Um, I had a total bridal melt down today. I've read about them on here and witnessed some friends go through it, but never thought it'd happen to me. I've met my match... this wedding is taking it's toll.
I have all the major players done, but I have a lot of small details left. I just have to keep my eye on the prize - I'm marrying him, and no one's going to care about the font on my rose petal bags with the program printed on the back.
@JBing: Hey we're almost date twins! I'm on the 27th! I've had exactly a year and I have really just started this month. I know, I know. I just can't bring myelf to want to do anything. I honestly wish I could just push the date back, but I have a feeling we'd never get married. I just keep putting it off. I like the DIY details, but none of the planning. I wish I could just trade with someone and do their details and they can do my planning logistics!
@ShennaB2b: Haven't even done STDs, and I think it's too late now! Ok, ok we haven't even locked down a venue! Sigh...........I really feel like the worst bride ever.

Hey May Bees,
Is it just me? I've had a 19 month engagement and I feel like I couldn't care less about getting all the small details together...In my mind I am DONE. I'm hoping for a surge of creativity and motivation in March, but I feel like I'm 90% there and it's all going to look mostly put together, but I lack the energy to make sure it's all perfect.
