I'm going for a pale pink, knee length dress. I look awful in whites and ivories and love the sweet look of the floaty, pale pink dress.

Any other nontraditional length/style/color brides out there? Show off your dress!

(sorry for the fuzzy pic... this is the too-small sample at the store. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of mine.)

love your dress! i saw a dress that color that i loved, but it was like 3 sizes too big and because i was going for an informal and short dress look i wanted ivory so i'd feel at least a little like a bride.

Fiance helped pick it out, we've been doing everything together!

I'm thinking pewter shoes, since my bridesmaids will be wearing charcoal. :)

I'm wearing the BCBG applique dress. I wish I could wear a veil but I haven't found one that matches so I'm wearing a hair flower from the wonderful Mrs. Espresso. If you find a veil you think would match, let me know!

@Emily...can I just say...wow! I've seen pictures of that dress over and over and it didn't really look that special to me. That is, until I saw your picture. It looks 100 times better on you than on the dress model and you look stunning. Great choice!

Have you thought of going vintage? 50's vintage dresses have the same look and look totally fab with a birdcage veil or a sweet feather/jeweled fascinator:
