Any other Outer Banks Brides out there?

I'll be getting married at the Roanoke Island Aquarium in Manteo THIS UPCOMING SUNDAY! WOOHOO!!

Just curious if there's any other OBX girls. :)

Congrats!! I love the aquarium... and the great photo op in front of the shark tank :) We are getting married July 31st in the Elizabethan Gardens with reception at 108 Budleigh.

Hi! I'm an OBX bride too! I'm getting married at the Catholic church at Whalebone junction with the reception at 108 Budleigh in Manteo! Who are your other vendors? I'm using 1587 for catering, Renee Landry for flowers and John Harper for DJ.

I'm using Outer Banks Music Masters, Argyles Restaurant, The Embellishers out of Wanchese for florals and DOC, and my ceremony and reception will both be at the aquarium! I'm so excited! I'm an emotional mess right now! Three days to go!

I'm getting married in Kill Devil Hills at the Cypress House Inn, using OBX Coastal Events coordinators, Kelly's restaurant for caterer, and mostly DIY for the rest of it... I am looking for someone to split flip flops with and also get suggestions for hair stylists in the OBX!

Me too!! We've rented a house in Kill Devil Hills and are having the ceremony on the public beach! I'm self-catering and self-beautifying. one week left!!!! I'm hoping to find flowers at a grocery store or florist once I'm there, all I want are some pink flowers for my bouquet. Anyone know if the groceries have flowers down there?

I am pretty sure that the Harris Teeter down there has flowers, I am not sure what the overall selection is like but they would probably have enough to pull together a pink bouquet.

Sigh, anyone else vaguely freaked out that Earl, or some hurricane soon after is going to wipe away your wedding venue? Can't do anything but wait it out and be hopeful and positive. But oh man what do you even do when your whole wedding is evacuated?
