You guys, I’m totally kicking myself right now because it is December 20th and I have not started Christmas shopping. For the past week or so, my intent has been to stop at a few places after work to buy some gifts…and every day I have found an excuse to just go straight home. So….is anyone else freaking out about the fact that we only have 5 days until Christmas?!
As of this very moment, I still need to buy gifts for my parents, FI, my brother, my sister, brother-in-law, 4 month old niece, FMIL, FBIL (+ his wife and 2 children). I also need to find some time to hit up the grocery store for appetizers for a small get together on Thursday night (which reminds me I also need to clean the house before then!).
Why do I do this to myself every.single.year?!

@SophiaPetrillo: Dont worry, I still need to buy gifts for DH, my dad and step mom and one more thing for my mom. I havent started freaking out but I probably should! I honestly don’t know when I’m going to do this shopping! I was thinking of stopping by Crate and barrel tonight but I know its going to be a mad house since its located directly across from the mall. And dont even get me started on the mall…..I do NOT want to go in there!

I’m just baking cookies for everyone this year (I’m so broke right now), but I’ve been procrastinating on everything else, too. I was going to make everyone a card, but umm…haven’t gotten to it yet :P.

Ha, you know the internet would’ve helped you out a month ago with that 🙂 I had all mine done weeks ago–the mall is the plague the week of christmas! My husband on the other hand—still hasn’t done it 😛

@ejs4y8: i am going to try VERY hard to avoid the mall at all costs 🙂 the worst part? we’re supposed to get 4-8 inches of snow today in Minneapolis, so that should make my trip out after work today extra fun!

@PitBulLover: I hate the mall! Big groups of people generally make me really anxious. I have a hard time talking myself into stopping at the mall during non-peak times! My goal for today is to hit up Target after work and get as much accomplished as possible. The 4-8 inches of snow we’re supposed to get today should make things even more interesting.

you are not alone! i have so much shopping left to do, doesnt help that im stuck in a cubicle all day! FI has off all week, im jealous. on top of christmas shopping i have a meeting with the priest tonight/moms birthday dinner after. Tomorrow i have to pick up my dress! and wedding band! hooray! this leaves me last minute christmas shopping which i completely despise! luckily i took off work on thursday so hopefully i can get some stuff done then
