I'm not a professional, but after a few months, the pure joy of planning my wedding wore off and it became a "job". A 24/7 job, LOL. That had to be done *exactly* right (by myself, only) or i'd end up redoing it over....and over...and over, lol.
So while I can't say I totally get where you're coming from, I do sympathize!

Just looking for any other girls out there who are wedding planners by profession. I am and I'm finding that it has completely desensitized me from the whole planning process. Unfortunately, I'm not feeling the emotions that all other brides do during this whole journey....not only I am planning my own wedding right now, but I'm also planning the weddings of 20+ other brides too! I feel that I'm not able to enjoy this like I should be. Work is obviously a priority...it not only pays the bills, but I am responsible for this once in a lifetime event in so many couples lives.
If there are any other brides out there going through this same dilemma or have gone through it, I would really apprciate any advice you have to offer. I really just want to enjoy this! TIA!
