I live in Dallas but both our families live in Phoenix, so we decided to have our wedding there :) So far, nothing is booked, yet, looking at late 2009. So far, Inspirador in downtown Chandler is at the top of the list. Anyone know of it, any reviews, word of mouth?
Sorry, I dont' know about ti. We were most looking at all inclusvie venues, and those with gardens, because we wanted a garden wedding.
MrsBid, I'm with you, I can't belive I'm still obsesed even though the wedding is over. But at lest I'm helping friends with other weddings so the bee still helps.
I was just telling the Tucson brides we're using Michael Chansley to do our photography. Did you meet with any yet? There were some others I was interested in, but they were too expensive for us.
I haven't even narrowed down to a short list yet... : / Planning wedding long-distance from NYC is much tougher than I thought (moved here from Tempe 9 months ago). I have 11 months so guess I shouldn't be *too* worried, but time flies when you're planning... Who else were you interested in? Are you getting married in Tucson or Phx?
Hi MrsScaliseToBe. You might want to consider more inclusive venues. IT helped my stress levels. Other than the wright house, I know Ashley manor does some packages. My friend had a really good wedding coordinator for her wedding, if you want a recommendation.
I am getting married in Tucson. The other photographers I was looking at were Erin Michelle, Ben Quillinan and Rebecca Bouck. They all have amazing work, but I chose Michael Chansley because we clicked right away when we met and we were able to save a lot when we added up what we wanted.
I live in Phoenix but am marrying in Florida... But I have a recommendation for a seamstress, in case anyone is forgoing the off-the-rack dress route, or needs alterations: Danese Creations. Sylvia owns the place and is a wizard. She's bringing a size 12 petite dress down to a size 3 regular for me without losing the soul of the dress. Plus she's making me look busty : ) Her prices are way better than what your bridal shop will charge you. She's on Indian School and 36th St.
PS - She is also famous locally for her custom work. Wedding gowns, pageant gowns, MOB/MOG, bridesmaid, etc. Really great work, and very flexible on scheduling.
WELL IM NEAR PHOENIX.... GOODYEAR ACTUALLY!!! AND IM GETTING MARRIED NEXT YEAR ON JUNE 27TH.!!!! IAM EXCITED BUT NERVOUS AND WORRIED ON HOW IM GOING TO FINISH ALL THE PLANING IN TIME!!!!! LOL
TCB, I don't know if you have found a place or not, but Inspirador is lovely! Dilia and Amy are most professional and accomodating too. I have beed to serveral events there and saw how the flow, parking ambiance and hospitality really work. As a matter of disclosure, I am a wedding publisher but Inspirador is not an advertiser.
I live in north Peoria and getting married in March. We're having a hard time narrowing down photographers. We've looked at JoshuaSky, Rachel Priddy, and some others. Any reccommendations?
Just putting it out there... :)
