I’m not in Pitt (although we might be moving there later this year!) but we did something sort of like this for our NYC tiny wedding (no guests). I suggest just looking for photographers in the area that you really like, and e-mailing them. Say directly what you want and when, and they’ll probably e-mail you back a price and you can go from there in terms of shopping around and negotiations.

@micheven:  Not sure about the officiant part, but our photographer is very reasonably-priced, and we are going to have her and a second shooter for a typical long wedding day, so for just a few hours she might have a lesser rate as well.  She’s also fun, young, and creative, so she may have some fun ideas for an elopement.  It’d definitely be something different!  Her name is Tressa McCune and she has a facebook page and is easily found on google.

My photographer has an elopement rate, but it’s not a package like you’re interested in.  Either way, if you want to check them out the prices are here

@micheven:  I’m a photographer in pittsburgh. PM me your budget and I’ll see what I can come up with 🙂

I know a photographer who offers a 4 hour package for $600 (normally it’s $800 but I think she’s offering 25% off right now).

That also includes a DVD with all your digitally remastered pictures sent to your house after the wedding so that you can make prints as you see fit.

She’s super creative and modern and I think would do a great job for you.

Micki Kippelen Photography (you can find her on google).

designcharm:  I’m really confused.

1. In this thread, you said that you had your wedding at the Palazzo and posted a picture:

2. That picture was taken by Amber Marie Photo for “Matt & Micki’s Wedding” (

So if #1 is correct, then #2 must also be correct.. which means you did not “use” Micki Kippelen.. you are Micki Kippelen.

If you want to advertise for your new business, I can understand that. But lying about who you are and posting fake references for your own business on the boards is really lame.
