Whoa this sounds scary lol. For some reason I get the feeling that i am very fertile (i have no basis on this, just a feeling) So im not sure if i could handle all the kids God would send me lol
@honeybear, I think most women feel that way! It's just a little paranoia going on in the back of our heads.
@ Stassney - I don't know that it's always paranoia! My mom told me that she has gotten pregnant every. single. time. she has had unprotected sex. Add to that my husband's ex-girlfriend got pregnant while she was on the pill. As did my little sister. And his half-sister. And a friend of mine....
Needless to say, we are extraordinarily careful and do not subscribe to the Quiverful ideology. :-)
I find the show 18 kids and counting pretty fascinating as well! That said, they are interesting, but I have no interest in having 20 kids!
FI wants 2 and I want 3 or 4. He says 3 will be his max limit, lol
i love that show! my fi always had a thing against kate from john and kate plus 8 because she's so mean, i always say it's because she has so many kids she's allowed to be grumpy. but that mom is so nice with 18 kids! that being said i'm a reform jew and we believe in birth control.

I'm slightly ashamed to admit it but I am addicted to 18 kids and counting. I read up on the Duggar family and found that they are Quiverful which basically means they accept as many kids as God sends. They frown on all forms of BC including NFP.
I was raised Catholic and I come from a HUGE extended family in Ireland (My Mom has over 100 first cousins on just one side of her family!) so I find this topic facinating.
With all the talk of NFP etc, I was just curious if anyone is planning on no family planning at all!
