I have a seamstress I LOVE in Pasadena and a few more in LA proper! Let me know if you'd like one of their numbers and I'll pm you! :)
In Glendale, there's a really good cleaners on Glendale blvd. off the 134 near Lexington by the Coffee Bean. I take all my clothes there!
Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Uniquely Yours in Northridge. Carmela stepped on my dress with her dirty sneakers FOUR times, cut the dress hem and lost a bunch of beads, all during the alterations quote! Then she charged me $10 for her "work." When I protested how much she'd damaged my dress, all she'd say is, "It doesn't matter."
I'm still looking for someone to alter my dress. I got a recommendation from a friend of a friend and will post if it turns out well.
How about Huntington Park. On Gage Ave (runs east west) and Pacific Blvd. (run north and south). They have beautiful quincinera dresses, wedding dresses, and cocktail dresses. I bought my dress @ Alfred Angelo too. Customer Service sucks. They are way over priced for everything. Don't let them trick you into anything. They are shady.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
My bridesmaids got their dresses at Alfred Angelo, but we figured it was too out of the way (San Gabriel) and expensive to go there for alterations. We all live in the San Fernando Valley, does anyone have any recommendations please?
