Any recs for a GOOD DJ who knows how to MIX HIP HOP songs well?

We are basically looking for someone whose style is similar to a club dj. Someone who can mix each song seamlessly, and who knows when to transition to the next song. We've heard DJs who play the ENTIRE song, and that is not what we want!

What you're describing was our exact criteria too! We used Michael (The Flashdance) and he ROCKED THE HOUSE. I cannot recommend him enough, especially for hiphop, mixing and keeping the dancefloor hype. Tell him Dana sent you!

My MOST FAVORITE DJ in the WHOLE WORLD lives in LA. His name is DJ HOUSESHOES. Great for Rare Grooves (think old school Donald Byrd) and REAL hip hop (not the junk you hear on the radio).

Now sure if he does weddings...but google him. You can find him on Facebook or Myspace.
