I am!!  I got my Robin Jillian at Jon’s Bridal in Tampa.  I don’t know the style name, but I found another girl who got the same dress on Pinterest and she called it “Jasmine”.  Works for me!

Now for the dress 🙂

TatiE:  we have the same dress!  I love it! The pictures don’t do it justice! Mine is light gold, is yours as we’ll?

Sophia you look great in it!!!! 🙂 🙂 Yes, mine is light gold, too.  So very excited.  You can see the detail much better in your pic, but they definitely don’t do it justice.  Have you chosen a veil?  Are you wearing a bustle or whatever that thing is called under the skirt?

TatiE:  Thanks – you do as well! I chose a veil that matches the beading detail but i didnt pay attention to the color when she placed the order because i was so hyped about the dress and it is white! I wouldve preferred ivory since i can tell the difference in colors.  At first i didnt notice so i dont think its that big of a deal.  Ill really only be wearing the veil for the ceremony.  Its coming off for pics and the reception.  It seems to catch on the beading constantly so its a pain to wear a veil with our dress i think anyway….my veil is shown below.  Im having serious boob dilema right now because the dress is so heavy that it doesnt fall off, but it keeps sliding down.  I found out that low back dresses dont get the boning support needed to stay up, even when it is properly altered. So originally I was going to just wear the sewn in cups but im thinking of wearing a low back strapless bra to help the sliding issue.  What are you going to do?  Have you found anything comfy and that works for our dress?  Its hard with the low back!

TatiE:  Im not wearing a bustle.  I think the dress has just enough poof without! what about you?

I did not have the sliding issue even though I think we have about the same chest size.  The dress I got was a size 2 and it fit me pretty tightly around the chest, almost too small, so I think that is why.  I was going to just have cups sewn in to fill the bit of empty space in the front and not wear a bra.  I haven’t tried on the dress since I bought it so I’m not sure how it’s fitting now or how it would fit for extended periods of time.  I plan to pick it up next week so I will let you know what happens.  Thanks for all the tips though!

I’m wearing the bustle in my pic, but I am thinking of going without it, but I’ll know for sure when I get to try on the dress again.

I haven’t chosen a veil yet, I kind of want a mantilla style to take the dress into a Spanish or Cuban direction (fiance is Cuban and we’re having the wedding at a garden with a Cuban heritage).  I also was thinking about wearing a long veil, like Chapel length, but you bring up a good point about it catching on the beading!  I guess I have a lot of decisions to make still!

Thanks for posting the detail of the dress, it’s so nice to see it again, I forgot how freaking amazing it is!!!!!!!!!!!!

TatiE:  So happy you get your dress next week! I was second guessing my dress during the long wait for it to come in but the second i tried it on I fell in love again! My dress had awesome poof because its new and not worn out by people taking it on or off so you may like it when your dress comes in too without adding the extra poof.  Happy veil hunting, but yes, all veils i tried on caught big time and it was slightly annoying.  My dress was ordered in a size 4 and i typically would wear a 2 so once they alter it maybe mine wont slip like yours didnt when you tried it on so i have hope 🙂 let me know how your dress works out!!
