I have a short style a longer pixie style cut... I am trying to grow it out a little bit just so i can have a little more variety of what to do with it...  I dont intend to grow it out much more though bc i do like my short hair

And you know this is so bad because I am a hairdresser and give people ideas of what to do with their hair everyday but i am clueless when it comes to my own right now...

Anyone else have short hair? Anyone have short hairstyle pictures of could suggest something?

I have a beaded and crystal headband that has 2 bands on it.. can be worn as a headband or low tiara.. right now i am trying to decide to veill or not to veil im thinking if i veil i wont have to worry so much about what my hair looks like form the back right ? LOL

Here is some pictures of my hair... i dont any hardly any pictures on my laptop but this will give you an idea of what i got to work with

    Future Mrs. Harless,

I have always had short hair so for homecomings and prom and such i would do "twists" back to the back of my head maybe even sideways and bobby pin them there you could put your tiara there...i currently am a 2011 bride so I am growing out my hair for the wedding *ok so that's my motivation.* Hopefully that helped! I'm sure there's other short haired brides...i know of one but she didn't do anything to her hair nor did she wear a veil

None of the rest of us have really figured much out for styles either though :/

I'm probably going to do clips or maybe a headband.

I have short hair and LOVE it.  I grew it out once and all the photos I see of myself like that don't look like "me".

When I've gone shopping for dresses, the best things the stylists have put in my hair are small fascinators with Russian netting.  I also LOVE a big flower tucked behind one ear.

Good luck and post photos of what you decide on! :)  All us short-haired girls need ideas!

I have had short hair for the last 9 years and Im trying to grow mine out and its a PAIN! I figure if I grow my hair out and hate it, I can just cut it your hair is already short, just keep it like that!  You would never be able to grow it out to your shoulders in a year (or however long).

I say, maybe grow it out a little bit in order to be able to curl it a little or something fun.  I think a flower would be adorable.

Rock your short hair, girl!  I just did a pre-wedding chop, and I'm sticking to it.  With a pixie, a birdcage could look amazing.  Or if you wanted to grow it out just a touch, you could pull an Ashley Judd and put in a pretty sparkly clip.  I hope this helps!  I'm thinking about doing a lace and ribbon headband.

Have you considerd fingerwaves?  They are beautiful, elegant and can be orn very smooth and classic or brushed out for a more up to date feel.   Plus they are super hot right now.

I am also a hairstylist, and that would be one of the first things I'd try.   Add some accessories and a short veil maybe?  I too have short hair and sport them quite often.

    Good luck :)

Thanks guys... i love that ashely judd picture... no nicole you are right there is no way i could grow it that long it is about to kill me right now...it is a total emo mullet right now lol too long to do one thing to short to do another.

I was wanting to wear a traditional veil and the headband that was my sisters for her wedding but the more i look at birdcage veils and fascinators the more i fall in love with them i just never really sure if they could work with such short hair

Offbeat bride... I have thought about that I was gonna do some pin up style photos as a christmas pressie for my FH and was gonna fingerwave my hair well i did a trial run with this and lol it is so much more difficult to do on myself than someone in my chair... one side looked good the other side looked lol wellllllll i dont want to talk about it lol I might ask someone to do it for me one day and see how it looks
