I’m going for a more laid back vibe with my hair, make up and accessories, but I’m wondering what to do about a necklace, or if I should even wear one at all. Statement necklaces are fabulous, but it’s not really the look I’m going for. Anyone out there wear or planning to wear a more simple bridal necklace on your big day? I’d love to see it!

MrsRevolutionize: I’m wearing a necklace I had custom made by our jeweller. The sapphire in it is the same colour as the sapphire in my engagement ring and I had it made for my 30th birthday. Unfortunately the only pics I have of it are somewhat blurry, but hopefully you can get the idea.

I feel like my necklace isnt too over the top. I am also going with heart studs and hair pins in amethyst.

I wore somethin simple ..unfortunately I don’t have any good pics :[
Here’s one of me getting ready that shows it fairly clear.
And then here’s a guest photo that kind of shows it with me wearing my dress & everything..
So just something to consider if you’re going to wear an understated necklace.. it doesn’t show up that clearly in photos ..or ask your photographer for a specific shot or two haha. I’m a very simple person so this necklace was perfect, especially because it was a gift from my husband some time back!

MrsRevolutionize: my fiancé bought me the Kate Spade “mrs” necklace to wear after our ceremony. It’s so cute and it’s very small and dainty. She has other similar items, check out her website!

I wore a simple necklace with a single pearl on it. It was a present from my MOH years ago. It looked like this but without the diamond.
I wore a lace bolero so wanted something very simple.

I wore a simple pearl necklace. It was a wedding gift from my hubby the night before the wedding.

I thought I would wear some big blingy necklace, but my mom, sister and I loved the simple elegance of this single pearl with rhinestone embellishments. Its so classy and doesn’t take away from the beauty of the dress.

I don’t have a photo, but I’m just wearing a plain string of pearls, with simple pearl and diamond stud earrings.
