What do you plan on getting done in October? I feel like I’m lagging behind…still looking for my dress, shoes, and need to set up the tasting with our caterer, but I have done the following:
-venue booked (catering is included)
-wedding party picked and bridesmaid attire picked
-hair and MUA’s booked for me and the bridesmaids
-made the STD in photoshop
-plan on DIYing my flower arrangements so I have my centerpiece supplies
-my brother is gifting us with his talents as a DJ/MC
I would also like to start my other DIY crafts soon, too…meeting with my MOH’s mother tomorrow to score a bunch of wine corks for the table numbers!
Lastly, would 230-3pm be a good time to start the wedding? I would like to have a while, but I’m not trying to party going til 2am either…I know I’m gonna be beat!

- Wedding: May 2014 - alder manor
For October, I hope that my FH collects all of his addresses so that I can send out the save the dates to his side, mine are ready to go………. I hope to order the Brides Maid dresses, just have to get their measurements as they are all over seas…….. Hope to finalize our baker, schedule a tasting with our caterer and discuss menu options, find make up artist and hair dresser for the bridal party…… and focus on honey moon, we haven’t given that any thought yet!

@neetaclaw11: Hi May bride! Sunday May 25 (memorial day weekend!) here! I think I am way ahead of the game most days but other days I feel behind! Here is what I have done so far
– Venue booked- includes catering and cake- no tastings or menu selection yet
-Photographer and DJ booked- E-photos done
– Bridal party selected, bridesmaids dresses purchased, groomsmen attire selected but not purchased.
-Block of hotel rooms booked
-Candles, table squares and supplies purchased for centerpieces and table decor
-Craft supplies and easels purchased for DIY escort cards and display
-Favors purchased and assembled (we are doing cds with printed sleeves- I burned 200 cds!!)
And we have a florist appointment tonight!
We still need to book our rehearsal dinner and limos and shuttles. Get the groomsmen dressed. Book our photography time at our secondary photo location (the college my FI and I both attended). I’m sure there is more that I am forgetting.

Ok! For October, I hope to find a florist and MUA/hair person. Those are the only two things we have left. Everything else has been booked & decided. STD’s went out last weekend. I’m feeling pretty good right now!
Oh, I should probably decide on BM dresses, too.. haha
PS – I’m a Sunday May bride!!! 5/25/14!! 🙂

@neetaclaw11: I’m a Sunday bride too … here’s what I’ve booked/done so far
-Venue/catering booked, although menu still has to be decided on
-Photographer – already did engagement session and got our photos back
-Dress and all accessories, except for my shoes (those I plan to buy in the next two weeks)
-Hair and make up arranged
-Booked fitting for January
-DJ and most of our playlist
-Approximate guest list
-I bought kippahs for all the guys, since it’s a half Jewish wedding
I could have sworn we’d done more than this but we went through a really stressful period of time with our families and now things seemed to have calmed down. We just bought our future home last week – a beautiful condo – and so the wedding has been far down on the list of priorities, but I think we’re coming back to it now.
