Hello everyone I’m 19 & a mom to an almost two year old boy 🙂
me and my boy friend (sons father) have been together for almost 4 years (nov 7) and have been living together for 2 years! We were looking at rings & finally he bought me my dream ring 🙂 he wants to propose to me officially and surprise me (ring is hidden in our home). Our families fully support a marriage and financially we Are very well off (make more than my parents combined).
Any other teen parents out there?!

I wasn’t a teen mom exactly, I got pregnant at 19, had my son when I was 20, 3 months shy of my 21st birthday. But I was close! lol
congrats and welcome to the hive!

Not a teen mom either but I wanted to say Welcome!!
Your post reminded me… My friend’s cousin had a baby at 16. Her parents kind of forced them to get married, and I honestly couldn’t help but think that it would never last. I randomly ran into the 3 of them playing at the park yesterday (almost 10 years later) and was so surprised; they were all glowing with happiness and laughter, and the marriage is still going strong. For some reason it made me so happy to see this once adorable and naïve couple turn into strong, successful people with a beautiful child.
Anyway, best of luck to you waiting for the ring!

I got pregnant at 16 and had my son at 17, it wasn’t planned but still a blessing.
my ring is a halo ring. .6 carat center stone round cut & tcw a little over one carat 🙂
it looked perfect on my tiny fingers!!!
Yes a lot of of people (around me) who got pregnant at 16 got married at 16 too.
Me and jaydensdad decided to wait until we were financially great & had good communication skills to get a ring. It took a while but I’m glad we waited and didn’t rush things!!

@Jaydensmom: I had my son just a day shy of my 19th birthday.
It took a couple years, but my G man and I finally found the right man, and get to have our own little family
