Hey  Bees!

I need some help with a rehearsal dinner venue!  We will be married at the Temecula Creek Inn in May of 2009.  We chose Temecula because we love the "local" wine country and it is between Los Angeles and San Diego- where our families are from.  We would like to have it at a restaurant, but we have a pretty large party.  There will probably be about 50-60 people. (His family is HUGE and we happen to have a very large wedding party)  Obviously we would like to keep the cost down as well.  Any ideas????

I am getting married at a winery as well. 50-60 people sounds like another wedding! If I was you I would try to set up a wine tasting with like cheese and crackers and snacks and do it before dinner time. Otherwise, its going to be expensive no matter where you go. Most of the restaurants have a per head limit before you are renting space and that just skyrockets. If not, maybe a local park and do a picnic type theme? Good luck!

 I'm also getting married in Temecula and am in search of an inexpensive place for a rehearsal dinner.  I found this place, which is really nice, but it wasn't in my budget.  Maybe it could fit yours:  http://www.oldtowndining.com/bailys.html.  Also, you could try BJ's which is really inexpensive, but they don't have a private room.  Good luck and let me know if you come across anything.
