They can still go the black tux route, perhaps they can get ties/bow ties to match the colors of the BMs seems a lot easier than finding a jacket to match.

@Orchidgirl80:  I would have all the guys in black tuxes, and then match the boutineers to the BMs. That way, it will be subtle, but noticeable, and also very cool/classy.

You could do this by using different flowers (perhaps ones that are in your bouquet?) in the various shades, or have the bottoms be wrapped in ribbon or fabric that matches.

Oh – just thought of this – it would be super fun to have them all wear different color socks. Can’t be TOO hard to find!

I would stay away from matching the vest or jacket or anything like that to their corresponding bridesmaid – it comes off as looking too “matchy matchy”. I’d either just get them ties with all the purple colours, or just go neutral all around – black, silver…

by ties with all the purple colours I mean the same tie for everyone that contains all the different shades of purple – something paisley, striped etc…

Don’t put them in jackets in those colours. They are not handbags And thats how they will look.  I would ask them to get charcoal suits.  You can do the ties in gradients, but avoid trying to make exact matches at all.  Do knit ties, or rough silk, so it isn’t possible to get a perfect match perfectly, then close will look good.  People will get your thematic idea, and everyone will look like a grown up, and pretty snappy.

Easy – ombre their ties! I might go backwards with it so the darkest color dress goes with the lighest tie, and vice versa, maybe switching up the two middles.
