I want to do a meet up! It would be so fun to meet the Wisconsin bees. Let me know where you guys are all from!!! Maybe we can arrange a weekend and meet up, do drinks, talk wedding!
I'm in Madison! I'd love to do a meetup sometime, sounds fun! I'm the only one in my group of friends getting married right now, so there's not too many people to talk details with other than the bees!
I'm in Madison, too! There's another thread on here for a Wisconsin meetup, too... mrsawesome - what if you title a post Madison meetup, and we can figure out a date? Maybe meet at the terrace??
Do you think we can meet half way? Are Milwaukee brides willing to travel that far?
Do you have a suggestion for where to meet halfway between? I don't know enough of what's in between Milwaukee, Madison, LaCrosse....
I was thinking that we would stay in Madison, the Madison brides wouldn't have to go far, but if the Milwaukee Brides/La Crosse Brides would be willing to travel for a long weekend or something...
I feel like I am the only one of my friends getting married and I would love to meet you bees! :)

I was thinking probably mid-April, I have no idea where. What's good in Madison? Ha
April is a busy month for me, but I could meet up for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon, maybe April 18. I'm out of town the last weekend (Vegas, baby!) Otherwise, what about May dates? The Memorial Union Terrace is always a great spot (especially if it's nice, and we can be outside!) and we can eat ice cream there. Or drink beer. I love both :) What do the Madison bees think?
I'll be out of town the weekend of the 18th...but the Memorial Union Terrace would be fun for sure! Anything downtown would be fun, especially if it's nice out! What about the weekend after that? The 25th?
May? Does May sound good? Any weekend in May I can make work, JEALOUS of you going to Vegas! :)

I know I'm kind of an honorary WI Bee with my wedding being in NC and all, but I'd love meet all of you!
We need to decide on a weekend in May then to meet up! I live in La Crosse, but I don't mind the drive. :)
Daytime/happy hour on the weekends would work really well for me (I work a lot of nights on the weekend). I'm totally free on 5/8 and 5/22 (evenings included).
I love the Terrace! We'll need a few UW memberships to buy food/booze (if that's your thing), but I bet we have enough amongst us (I have one!).
I'm getting excited!
Ooooh the 8th works for me, it could be a pre-celebration for my bday too! ha yes, booze. :D I do not have a UW membership because I am enrolled in a ACA, in SF and do everything online. Imma nutzo.

Oooh this sounds like fun. I'm in Rochester MN, which is only an hour away from La Crosse. I could possibly go for a meet-up, but Madison is kind of far for me to drive there and back in one day. Is anyone planning on spending the night there?
ME! I will not drive home after that, I'll prob wanna shop er something.. Ha.
@liz - where are you planning on staying? are there any cheap hotels in the area?

Are you looking right downtown? I know that'd be more convenient, but there's plenty of hotels in Madison, if you want something cheaper, go a little further out than the downtown area. Of course, I haven't stayed in a hotel up here, so I don't really know the prices of the other ones either.
I found one that I liked that was kind of by the Airport? I think... ha, I suck at picking places to stay @mrsawesome09
@Lizabeth - which ones did you find? I found one for $82. I don't know Madison at all though so I'm not sure if it's in a good location. It's right by the Alliant Energy Center. Is that a good area to stay? Where will we be eating/drinking for the bee get-together?
P.S. The airport is more on the East side, if I'm not mistaken, so it'd be a little far from downtown. The ones that are right downtown that I know of are the Concourse, Best Western Inn on the Park (we looked there for a wedding location!), the Doubletree, etc. Don't know their prices though. I know there are some close to where I live, on the West side, that might be a little less expensive cause they're further out from the more touresty areas, I think there's another best western close by me, near West Town Mall.
